Dining

Aqua

Inspired by the deep turquoise beauty of the Arabian Gulf, Aqua provides a refined yet informal setting in which to enjoy life’s pleasures. Open all day and into the evening, the hotel’s signature social dining venue is afforded high ceilings and panoramic views from its fourth floor location. Aqua starts the day with an imaginative buffet breakfast, and takes off with a live interactive show kitchen. As sunset approaches, Aqua takes on a distinctly global flair with the choice of display live cooking and a la carte options.

La Cava

An intimate, exclusive live wine cellar, La Cava takes its inspiration from the rich history of wine making, allowing experienced sommeliers to present a palette-testing variety of wines from obscure and classic vineyards. Descending into La Cava via circular wooden stairs, the focus on wine is evidenced by wall-to-wall cabinets nurturing 7,000 premium wines. Fine lighting accentuates the richness of the red wines against a backdrop of warm woods. The Private Reserve caters to exclusive tastes, a highly secured part of the cellar for the rarest of vintages. A walk-in cigar room and humidor in combination with a prized cognac selection make for a very snug cigar bar.

Catalan

A nod to the elegance of the early 1900s, Catalan is a classic salon with curved walls inspired by Victor Horta. Visually open, with ribbon-shaped fine woods and floor-to-ceiling views of the gardens, this upscale restaurant provides formal diners, romantics and food enthusiasts with a specialized view of Northern Spanish cuisine. The restaurant interiors evoke the welcoming charm and comfort of a fine European home with stain-glass windows and drape-framed sheer curtains to conjure a rustic sense of Old Europe.

Sambusek

This delightfully modern Lebanese restaurant commands a cool elegance that is strikingly upscale. The food is authentic Lebanese, presented with a modern twist, and Sambusek offers a Mezzeh bar as well. The design inspiration has its roots in the local topography and landscape. As such, the restaurant is divided into three areas:  the peak is represented by raised dining platforms; the valley is inspired by the rich texture of indigenous cedar trees with their moss-coloured canopies; and, the outcroppings are defined by a group dining area located at the end of the main dining floor.

Smoke

Venture outside on to the terrace and into Smoke, the Shisha bar. Enjoy striking views of the waterfront and Abu Dhabi skyline while relaxing beside live fire pits where red-hot embers stoke delicious Shisha flavors such as apple, mint strawberry and rose. A Shisha master is on hand to orchestrate the “hubbly bubbly” late into the night.

Glo

A poolside bar serving a range of snacks and refreshments, Glo evolves from a leisurely pace in the morning to a funky place to chill in the evening. Glo takes its name from the venue's striking signature lighting that warms up the evening sky. The elliptical shape of the pool bar is derived from the organic form of Rosewood’s tower. Designed as an emerald oasis in this desert city, the bar’s backlit green panels harmonize with the lush landscaping.

Hidden Bar

A private and slightly mysterious hideaway for soft spoken liaisons of family and friends, the cozy Hidden Bar features cocoon-style seating with gliding geometrical veiled drapes.
