Marc C. Brugger Appointed Managing Dirctor of Rosewood Beijing

Marc C. Brugger has been appointed managing director of Rosewood Beijing, scheduled to open Summer 2014 as the first China hotel for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts®. Mr. Brugger brings 20 years luxury hotel experience to his new role.

Most recently, Mr. Brugger was general manager of Crown Towers Hotel & Casino Macau. Other positions he has held in the destination’s upper echelon properties included vice president VIP gaming services for City of Dreams Casino Macau and vice president hotel and F&B for Altira Hotel & Casino Macau.

Previously, Mr. Brugger was director of food and beverage for Four Seasons Hotel Dublin, the largest food and beverage operations of Four Seasons in Europe. His former nine years with Hyatt International included food and beverage management positions at Park Hyatt Goa and Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, with additional postings in Mexico and Malaysia.

A Swiss native, Mr. Brugger speaks five languages. He recently received his executive MBA from Ivey School of Business and previously graduated with a bachelor of science degree in international hospitality management from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.
