CordeValle features four plexicushion tournament tennis courts.These light green-on-dark green courts are ready for play at any skill level, from competitive action to a friendly game of mixed doubles. The surface plays at a medium speed, allowing for a wide variety of game styles. With plenty of room between courts, the tennis facility presents a relaxed atmosphere where you can play the game at your own pace.
The resort also offers a multi-purpose pavilion for apres tennis activities. Extending the comfort and elegance of Cordevalle into the tennis arena, the pavilion is ideal for a variety of entertainment and social options. If you want to relax after a game of tennis, there are plenty of areas to unwind, to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or to enjoy high-tech entertainment. Nestled in the California foothills, the pavilion offers something all tennis players want: beautiful scenery in a quiet, tranquil setting. Escape the crowded clubs and tennis courts, and listen to the sound of birds chirping around fertile vineyards. Take that deep breath again, and appreciate tennis for the amazing sport it is: mind, body and spirit.
The tennis club has many different activities to offer both the tennis player and the tennis fan who enjoys watching tennis. Lessons are available for any level, either as an individual or group. In addition, tennis weekends are planned to bring together groups of people together to enjoy both playing and watching exhibitions.
A professional ball machine is available so you can enjoy working on that new stroke or shot you have been perfecting, and a backboard complements the facility. We have rackets for you to try, whether you forgot your racket or just want to see if you can hit some more winners with a different choice. Small and large baskets of balls are available for you to borrow.
Tennis is offered one hour after sunrise to one hour before sunset.
Resort Guest Rates
- Private Instruction: $100 per hour, Semi Private: $120 per hour, Group (3+ players): $150 per hour
- Court Fee: $25. Fee guarantees one hour of playing time and full-day playing privileges on any available court. Visit the front desk or call 408.695.4500 to book your court time. A fee for cancelling with in 24 hours will be applied. Reservations are recommended.
- Ball Machine Rental (based on availability): Fee guarantees one hour of ball machine time. $10 per day
