Dallas/Fort Worth is a wonderful place for families. If you are looking for arts, culture, sports, amusement parks, indoors, outdoors, there is something for all ages!

Unique experiences at the hotel include blending your own smoothie at The Spa Café, designing your own cupcakes in the pastry kitchen, teen and tween treatments in The Spa at The Crescent. Seasonal activities during the holiday season include Brunch with Santa and gingerbread classes. All of these experiences create memorable moments for your children.

For the younger kids, the Build-A-Bear Workshop is just six miles away at NorthPark Center or the American Girl Store is at The Galleria. Little girls can have breakfast, lunch, dinner or tea with their American Girl in their bistro or attend a workshop. 

For children’s performances, the Dallas Children’s Theater and the Dallas Puppet Theater have shows throughout the year to entertain the younger audiences. Legoland Discovery Center and the Sea Life Aquarium are located in Grapevine Mills Mall and allow children to explore and discover.

Various museums educate children of all ages with interactive exhibits and learning with fun. There are two aquariums in Dallas, one in Fair Park and one in the West End, both are within five miles. The Museum of Nature and Science offers an incredible children’s learning area and has an IMAX theater. For your young history buffs, the Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park or the Sixth Floor Museum may be ideal. 

For an outdoor activity, the Dallas Zoo, State Fair in October, Trinity River Audubon or Dallas Arboretum provide a different experience for children of all ages. If you want an excursion, there is more than enough to do in Fort Worth with the Kimbell Art Museum, Science and History Museum, Fort Worth Zoo or Stockyards for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor in Arlington provide thrill-seekers a place to enjoy roller coasters or water slides which is fun for the young and the young at heart.
