Rosewood Hotel Georgia Appoints Derek Damon as Food & Beverage Director

VANCOUVER, BC - Rosewood Hotel Georgia is delighted to welcome Derek Damon to the role of Food & Beverage Director at Vancouver’s leading luxury hotel. Responsible for operations at both Reflections restaurant & lounge and 1927 lobby lounge, as well as banquets, weddings and room services, Derek will also be integral to the opening of Prohibition, slated for the end of the year.
Originally from Connecticut, Derek fell in love with Vancouver following frequent weekend trips while working in Seattle. An avid skier and golfer, the stars aligned when he was approached by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts with the offer to relocate from Dallas’ Rosewood Crescent Hotel to Rosewood Hotel Georgia.
In his role as Food & Beverage Director at Rosewood Crescent Hotel, Derek garnered a deep understanding for Rosewood Hotel & Resorts' guiding principal, A Sense of Place®, a concept which shines at Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s dining venues Reflections restaurant & lounge on the hotel’s fourth floor rooftop and 1927 lobby lounge.
