Lobster Lovers Rejoice at Rosewood Little Dix Bay!

VIRGIN GORDA, BVI - Rosewood Little Dix Bay celebrates the local Anegada lobster with an Annual Lobster Festival for seafood lovers. Anegada, the beautiful coralline island with powder white shores and crystal clear waters, is located north of Virgin Gorda. A flat island that is only 10 miles long and with a population of only few hundred, it is home to the best Caribbean lobster.
Anegada is easy to reach on a day excursion from Rosewood Little Dix Bay. Local BVI fishermen, experts in navigating the local waters and sorting out the challenges of the Anegada reefs, delight Rosewood Little Dix Bay guest by bringing fresh lobster directly to our shore. Executive Chef Hemant Dadlini coordinates a meet and greet with local lobstermen every 1st and 3rd Saturday from November 2011 through July 2012 so guests have the opportunity to select their own lobster for dinner. A special lobster dinner buffet is available every Saturday night in the Pavilion Restaurant with culinary delights such as Lobster Bisque, Lobster Risotto, Lobster Bloody Mary and Grilled Anegada Lobster Tail.
Guests of the resort can enjoy the Annual Lobster Festival with special menus, the option to select their own lobster and experience the new Lobster Meal Plan. For those that want lobster all day, the plan includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Start the day with lobster for breakfast including Lobster Omelette with Vegetables, Lobster Medallions Baked with Hollandaise Sauce on a Bagel, or Fried Egg with Chopped Lobster and Tarragon. For lunch, savor the Lobster Club Sandwich with Truffle Fries, Lobster Roti or Beach Grill Signature Burger with Lobster. At dinner, try the Lobster Bisque, Surf and Turf or Grilled Lobster. This new Lobster Meal Plan is available beginning in November for $195 per person, per day.
