The retreats have been crafted to offer a carefully planned agenda of yoga or fitness classes, revitalizing cuisine by Executive Chef, Hemant Dadlani, and massage in Sense, A Rosewood Spa®. Your rejuvenation vacation will be one to remember when you visit the Caribbean in January, April, June or November. Experience the ancient discipline of yoga while practicing postures in the beautiful environment of Rosewood Little Dix Bay. Johnny Anzalone, a certified instructor of Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga, Meditation, Pilates and dance, will lead students through daily classes. The classes will consist of Multi-Level Yoga, Meditation, Core Strength and Stretch and the Choreography of Asana and Alignment. The core work practice will be held throughout the tranquil resort and on secluded beaches and will offer the knowledge needed to enhance your body, mind and spirit.

MOVE WELL, FEEL WELL, BE WELL® is the philosophy of New York City fitness professional, Frank Baptiste, C.S.C.S. His experience working with a variety of clients of all ages and abilities from new mothers to professional athletes will help students during three classes each day learn the skills they need to achieve fitness goals and keep you moving well both during this program and after you return home. The beachside and poolside workshops including Move Well Morning Workout, Jump Rope Techniques, 21st Century Core Training, and Kettlebell Sessions will have your muscles toned and the calories melting.

The Wellness Retreats at Rosewood Little Dix Bay start at $4,572 in January; $3,856 in April; $3,308 in June and $3,476 in November for two people including:

Executive Chef Hemant Dadlani
Executive Chef of Rosewood Little Dix Bay, Hemant Dadlani, hails from India, a land of rich culture and cuisine. He is responsible for all culinary operations at Rosewood Little Dix Bay, including menu creation at the Sugar Mill, Pavilion and Beach Grill restaurants, at Sense, A Rosewood Spa®, and for in-room dining and special events. Dadlani’s culinary style involves the bold flavors of the world’s tropical cultures and the exotic spices of his Asian roots. The Caribbean is an ideal backdrop for his talents, allowing him to create fresh, simple and succinct dishes utilizing local and even organic produce as well as freshest seafood.

Yoga Instructor, Johnny Anzalone
Johnny Anzalone will be teaching four yoga retreats at Rosewood Little Dix Bay in 2012. Anzalone is a certified teacher of Yoga, Meditation, Pilates, fitness and dance. He is a former Broadway and concert dancer. Based in New York City, he is a Yoga and Fitness Instructor at Equinox, Reebok, Sports Club LA, and NY Sports Clubs. He received his Yoga and Pilates Certification from Be Yoga of Manhattan and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree from New York University. He is currently a faculty member of New York University’s Steinhardt’s School of Education.

Fitness Instructor, Frank Baptiste 
Frank Baptiste is the owner of FranklyFitness and a highly regarded fitness consultant, professional mentor, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist based in New York City.  Frank will be teaching two four-day fitness retreats. Experience working synergistically with leading health and wellness professionals has allowed Frank to develop his integrated approach to training. He has helped clients of all ages and abilities—from new mothers and weekend warriors to competitive and professional athletes—reach their goals and stay injury free. As a former competitive Alpine Racer and Track and Field athlete, Frank continues to challenge himself to new physical feats and has become an accomplished athlete in multiple arenas.
