Baby, We’ve Got You Covered - Resort Rolls Out New Services for its Tiniest Guests

Aug. 29, 2011

RIVIERA MAYA, MEXICO - Rosewood Mayakoba, an award-winning leader in eco-luxury resorts, has introduced new services and offerings to further accommodate guests traveling with young children - a “baby and kids' concierge” whose services allows parents to pack light by having all the comforts of home waiting en suite and an organic “baby menu” available at its restaurants.

After making a reservation, guests are provided a questionnaire to indicate their travel preferences, likes and dislikes, so that the resort can personalize their vacation experience. Now, part of that form for those traveling with small children, includes a comprehensive menu of necessities (complete with images) of diapers, baby wipes, baby talc, diaper rash cream and formula. From Huggies and Pampers to Similac and Enfamil, the menu provides a range of familiar brands that parents are likely to use at home. Guests simply select the products and quantities they require, and the items are ready and waiting upon arrival. Additionally, suites can be equipped with a high chair, crib and can even be completely baby-proofed upon request.

While at the resort, guests can request the Rose Buds™ Baby Menu at any of the resort’s restaurants to provide their little ones with a healthy diet of organic fruits and vegetables, selected daily by the Executive Chef.  Apples, avocado, zucchini, sweet potatoes and more (based on seasonal availability) are pureed in to a delicious meal for any infant.

“We understand the challenges of traveling with small children, and how even the smallest things, like not having to worry about packing diapers or wipes for a seven day trip, can help ease the stress. Plus, the comfort of knowing they have access to all their ‘usual’ brands and products should they run out, helps put concerned parents at ease,” Managing Director and Vice President Pablo Graf said. “It’s our mission to make our guests’ vacation a seamless, indulgent and stress-free experience. We understand that knowing your child will have his or her needs met is a big part of allowing parents to relax. From baby food to balloon filled bubble baths, we do everything possible to accommodate guests of any age and make the Rosewood Mayakoba experience memorable for the whole family.”

The baby and kids concierge and baby menu are just two components of the resort’s Rose Buds Children’s Program, which was launched by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® to create family friendly hotels and resorts for vacationing families.
