Celebrity Chef Rachel Ray Visits Rosewood San Miguel de Allende

SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, MEXICO - Last week the Rachael Ray Show visited San Miguel de Allende to film Ray’s "Hey, Can You Cook?!" showdown. Rosewood San Miguel de Allende was home to the celebrity chef and her team for three days while they were filming both in town and at the hotel.
Rosewood Executive Chef Carlos Hannon said, “Rachael was really nice and such a professional. I think she truly enjoyed her time in San Miguel and at Rosewood.” Hannon also said, “all of her crew and staff were amazing, honestly they were awesome and a pleasure to work with.” The final contestants in "Hey, Can You Cook?!" participated in an improvised cooking competition in the town’s main square and Chef Hannon served as a guest judge along with other chefs from the San Miguel community.
During Ray’s stay at Rosewood she enjoyed daily breakfast in her room, ordering the “Poblano” omelet stuffed with Oaxaca cheese, Poblano chili pepper and zucchini flower sauce. According to Chef Hannon, she loved that omelet! Ray also feasted upon savory tapas at Luna Rooftop Tapas Bar. A few of her favorites were the Tacos de Lechón, the Coconut Shrimp with Hibiscus Chutney and of course the Churros!
