Rosewood Veteran Duncan Graham Named Managing Director of Rosewood Tucker's Point
May. 15, 2012
BERMUDA - Rosewood Tucker’s Point, Bermuda’s newest luxury resort, has welcomed a new managing director: Duncan Graham. The veteran hotelier brings with him more than 30 years of experience leading luxury hotel properties around the globe. Duncan was tapped by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to manage Tucker’s Point, an award-winning 240-acre residential and resort community that joined the Rosewood family in 2011, after a successful five-year turn at the helm of the celebrated Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Texas.
"Rosewood Tucker’s Point has all the elements – from a prime Castle Harbour setting to an unequalled mix of recreational facilities – to make it the premier luxury hotel and club experience in the Atlantic region," said Graham. “I’m excited by the opportunity to bring this exceptional resort to the leadership position it deserves."
Graham began his career with Rosewood when the company assumed management of San Ysidro Ranch, where the hotelier had served as managing director since 2004. Before joining Rosewood, he held a series of senior leadership roles with St. Regis Hotels, including serving as general manager of the company’s Washington, D.C. and Houston hotels. His career has also included senior positions with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Regent International Hotels and Forte Hotels in Europe.
A native of Northwest England, Graham entered the hospitality world in London, working at both The Regent (later named The Landmark) and The Grosvenor House Hotel.
Tucker’s Point is a 240-acre residential and resort community with breathtaking vistas of Castle Harbour, Harrington Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. Site of Bermuda’s first new luxury hotel in 40 years and its first-ever fractional ownership clubs in addition to whole ownership homes, the community affords residents and guests exceptional recreational facilities. These include the acclaimed 18-hole Tucker’s Point Golf Course, tennis courts and a croquet lawn, Bermuda’s longest private pink-sand beach, a 12,000-square foot Sense® spa and a fine dining restaurant in its 100-guest room hotel.
