Chef Jarrod Verbiak Presents All-New Sunday Brunch Experience at Bistrot B

July 5, 2017

There is Sunday Brunch. Then there is the all-new Chef’s Brunch at Bistrot B. Chef Jarrod Verbiak invites guests to partake in exquisite dishes in the style he would serve to friends and family in his own home at the weekend, starting 9 July.

Guest can whet their appetite with hors d’oeuvres especially made for sharing, the “Catch on Ice” platter offering the freshest seafood and artisanal cheeses trolley. Guests may select a delectable main course from a mouth-watering array of Shunyi Farm egg dishes, bistro classics and specialty brochettes grilles.

“A Sunday just isn’t Sunday without brunch, and we wanted to create a new menu for guests to enjoy as they unwind with friends and family on the weekend,” Chef Jarrod said. “I am excited to be able to choose the best seasonal ingredients and to recreate dishes like those I would serve to special guests at home.” Chef Jarrod said.

One of Beijing’s most renowned chefs and a protégé of Daniel Boulud, one of America’s leading culinary authorities, Chef Jarrod always cooks from his heart, and this passion is what drives the Chef’s Brunch.

Completing the menu is a divine pastry counter created by Chef Jarrod’s colleague and friend Chef Florian Couteau, featuring his freshly baked fruit tarts and cheesecakes, as well as an artisanal ice cream bar. Moreover, guests will be surprised and entertained by frozen pop corns trolley, in a way which have never been seen before.

Chef’s Brunch is priced at CNY 390, available from noon to 3:30 p.m. every Sunday. Guests can upgrade the seafood platter with an additional French blue lobster for CNY 950 or Alaskan king crab for CNY 1,200.

No brunch is complete without free-flow libations. For CNY 280, guests may sample the Sommelier’s Selection, which features an assortment of white wines, red wines and hangover cocktails. For those partial to some bubbly, the sparkling package for CNY 580 lets guests choose from a selection of champagnes and sparkling wines, while those who really want to celebrate the weekend can order the Champagne Prestige for CNY 2,580 and on Perrier-Jouët, ‘Belle Epoque’ 2008 and Perrier-Jouët, ‘Belle Epoque’ Rosé 2006.
