I began to accompany my grandmother who worked as a t-shirt and souvenir vendor, at the tender age of six when my grandmother realized I had a natural talent when dealing with tourists. I believe subconsciously this sparked my interest in the hospitality industry.


I landed my first job at Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort as a steward and quickly developed a keen interest for high guest contact and interaction. Within a year I was promoted to the position of food and beverage server.


An incredibly successful year where I was awarded Associate of The Year and promoted to food beverage supervisor. This inspired me to further my studies.


I enrolled into the Resort Management program at the Antigua & Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute. This was an investment towards my long term career aspiration to become a food and beverage director within Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. My focus at this time is on professional development and growth.


What a breathtaking moment in my life, as I was awarded the prestigious Brand Ambassador Of The Year Award 2014 by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. To be selected from over 4,800 associates worldwide was a moment that will be etched in my memory for a lifetime. Opportunities are truly endless!

My career with Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort commenced in the stewarding department seven years ago. I always took pride in my work and strived for excellence. This was recognized by the management team and I was promptly promoted to a food and beverage server. This transition afforded me great joy and a sense of accomplishment.

As a server, I continued on my path of extraordinary service which was a source of delight to all our guests, as reflected in the many accolades received over the years. My passion for finding ways to create memorable guest experiences resulted in my promotion to a food and beverage supervisor within a year, thus showcasing me as a role model and an inspiration to my fellow associates.

The role of a food and beverage supervisor is a fulfilling experience for me. Each day is filled with new and exciting opportunities which keep me on my toes. My role is to ensure that all standards are articulated at the highest level.

Hospitality to me is an intuitive style of service that allows our guests to get emotionally connected to our brand. I am excited about the evolution of service within the hospitality industry and I am particularly thrilled about Rosewood’s core philosophy of Relationship Hospitality. After all that’s what I do every day, as every encounter with my guests is personalized with warmth, sincerity and a caring spirit.
