Rose Buds

At Rose Buds, children participate in absorbing activities and hours of entertainment led by our dedicated staff in a magical atmosphere. The club features cooking workshops and treasure hunts as well as swimming, archery and tennis lessons. Young guests can go horseback riding, explore the woods and attend outdoor fitness sessions. They can also try their hand at photography, have a go at oil painting or study the stars like an astronomer. Access is complimentary (fees may apply to specific activities or events). A fun children’s dinner menu can be served upon request.

Babysitting services are also available by request.

Horseback Riding

Spring and summer are an ideal time to go horseback riding and enjoy the Tuscan countryside. Children four years and older are welcome at the riding centre, which is located a few miles away from the resort. Sturdy shoes or boots, long trousers and long-sleeved shirts are recommended for a day of riding fun.

Farm Tour

This fun and educational outdoor activity is guaranteed to create lasting memories. Together with a children’s counselor, we take the kids to the estate’s farm located just 10 minutes from the Borgo. There, the gamekeeper’s wife welcomes the kids and introduces them to the animals which include the Cinta Senese (a special pig breed), rabbits, chickens and horses. Participants are given bread to feed the animals while she describes what life is like at the farm.

Cake Making

Italian cake making at the Kids’ Club is a baker’s delight! Donning a small apron and chef’s hat, kids gather around a preparation table set with kid-size utensils, dough, chocolate, cream, flour and all sorts of different ingredients for toppings. It’s a recipe for fun and a truly scrumptious experience.
