GIZDICH RANCH PICKING TOUR

at  Gizdich Ranch, Watsonville, CA

Gizdich Ranch is a local family owned farm that specializes in apples, berries and California’s finest antiques. A great family experience that exposes guests to a working farm that boasts its success from 19 types of apples and 5 types of fresh berries. A picnic lunch will be created by the Culinary Team at CordeValle for you to enjoy after picking fruits and touring the apple orchards and berry patch. After lunch, browse the property, make your own apple juice, watch the incredible pie baking operation and enjoy a slice of pie or famed popsicles. Finish off the experience with a browse through some of the California focused fine antiques and collectibles.

WINE COUNTRY HELICOPTER TOUR

Helicopter Tour is a touch above the rest. The day begins with breakfast prepared for you by the Culinary Team at CordeValle. Be whisked away to enjoy a professional helicopter tour that leaves CordeValle and takes you on a scenic tour of the wine country of the Santa Cruz Mountains and arrives in the Santa Lucia Highlands at Talbott Vineyards. A tour of the picturesque winery, barrel tasting some of the finest California Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines and a picnic lunch at the winery. After lunch and Wine tasting, a helicopter ride back to CordeValle. The beautiful local vineyards will provide you with an amazing view of some of the best vineyards in the world.

Rosewood chefs partner with local farms and food producers in a commitment to showcasing locally grown, sustainable ingredients in fine cuisine.

This initiative is born out of respect for local farmers and indigenous argiculture. The concept emphasises maintaining a seasonal and diverse menu featuring local fare. Although not all ingredients can come within 25 miles of the kitchen – such as salts, olive oils, and other spices – the chef still strives to maintain its integrity by partnering with local farms and farmers. Rosewood restaurant chefs are committed to working with produce that is locally grown. We believe in freshness and have close links to local suppliers and are therefore able to receive seasonal produce throughout the year. The meats are from local butchers, who in turn source their meats from resident farms. Most of the products are all line-caught in an ethical, sustainable manner that is fitting for a free-range food menu focus.
