Resort Merchandiser of the Year

Rosewood CordeValle’s 1st Assistant Golf Professional, Evan Ives was named Resort Merchandiser of the Year by the Northern California Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association’s annual Awards of Excellence.

The NCPGA Merchandiser of the Year Award recognizes PGA Professionals who have excelled as merchandisers in the promotion of golf. The NCPGA honors PGA Professionals in three categories of courses: private, public and resort. This award is recognized at both the National and Section Level.

Ives joined Rosewood CordeValle in 2014 and was recently promoted to the 1st Assistant Golf Professional. In this role, Ives is responsible for overseeing all elements of the resort’s golf-related activities, facilitating top quality instruction and providing an exceptional golf experience. Prior to working at Rosewood CordeValle, Ives was the Assistant Golf Professional at a private club in Raleigh, North Carolina. Ives was previously a professional golfer in the Carolinas, and attained his Class A PGA membership after graduating the PGA Professional Golf Management program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
