The signature restaurant at Rosewood CordeValle is recognized with the Best of Award of Excellence

Il Vigneto, the signature restaurant at Rosewood CordeValle in San Martin, California, has been recognized as a premier dining destination in Wine Spectator’s 2018 Restaurant Awards. Il Vigneto has been honored with the Best of Award of Excellence, which recognizes restaurants for their commitment to offering exceptional wine programs and high levels of wine service.

Wine Spectator’s annual Restaurant Awards recognizes the most notable dining destinations across all 50 states in the United States and in over 75 countries internationally. The awards program celebrates restaurants that offer extensive and unique wines that are appropriate to their cuisines and appeal to a wide range of wine aficionados. The Best of Award of Excellence is a prestigious honor awarded to select restaurants whose lists feature 350 selections or more and demonstrate significant vintage depth and excellent breadth across multiple regions.

“We are thrilled that our efforts have been recognized by Wine Spectator this year,” said Wine Director Lars Conrad. “At Il Vigneto, we dedicate a significant amount of time and effort into our wine list, and this award is a testament to our dedication to providing the best wines and service to our guests.”

Il Vigneto is a sophisticated, 68-seat dining venue that offers contemporary Californian cuisine with Latin influences. With a central focus on sustainable, locally-sourced ingredients, Il Vigneto offers innovative menus that utilize fresh, organic produce from farms and purveyors within 30 miles of Rosewood CordeValle. In addition to its acclaimed dinner menus, Il Vigneto hosts several wine events with winemakers throughout the year, including its monthly Wine Dinner Experience, which pairs thoughtfully-prepared cuisine with curated wines from the local and international wineries for an unduplicable dining experience.
