A New Chapter Unfolds on Calistoga’s Ridgeline
Rosewood Calistoga opens reservations for stays beginning April 15, 2027
CALISTOGA, CALIFORNIA – NOVEMBER 05, 2026 – Reservations are now open for stays beginning April 15, 2027, at Rosewood Calistoga, a new 118-acre cultivated hillside estate set along Calistoga's forested ridgeline in Napa Valley. Marking a significant milestone in Rosewood’s continued growth across the Americas, the estate offers a distinct perspective on wine country, pairing the seclusion of a hillside retreat with close ties to a town shaped by volcanic hot springs and generations of winemaking.
Following the hillside's natural contours, Rosewood Calistoga invites guests to discover wine country through food, well-being, nature, and craft, each shaped by a deeper connection to the land, its seasons, and the people who define it. The estate will feature 95 accommodations, including 65 guestrooms and 30 suites, alongside 20 private four- and five-bedroom residences.
Three restaurant and bar concepts will offer distinct expressions of California's culinary heritage, bringing Napa Valley's agricultural abundance to the table through exceptional seasonal ingredients and the expertise of local growers and producers. An intimate cocktail bar and a cellar program built around Napa Valley's own winemakers will connect guests to the valley's terroir.
Atelier Marsh is carrying forward the late architect Ed Tuttle's vision with spaces that settle naturally into the hillside, enriched by an evolving collection of works by California artists. Guestrooms will pair natural oak, deep green stone and leather accents, while suites will feature dining tables from locally reclaimed wood and private terraces among the trees, complete with firepits, lounge seating and outdoor dining areas, alongside indoor-outdoor showers.
At Asaya Spa, Rosewood's sanctuary for integrative wellness, healing rituals and restorative therapies will be offered across six treatment rooms, complemented by hydrotherapy. The estate's commitment to rest and renewal will extend beyond Asaya through guided movement and reflection throughout the grounds, as well as sleep rituals such as star bathing under Calistoga's night sky.
From afternoons beside two vineyard-view pools and outdoor adventures designed for kids to celebrations across more than 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, Rosewood Calistoga creates opportunities for generations to gather, explore and make meaningful memories together.
"Napa Valley is often defined by wine, but Calistoga has always had a character all its own: a place shaped by forested ridgeline and a close-knit community of growers and makers. Rosewood Calistoga is our invitation to experience the valley through that lens. Here, the land is both backdrop and guide, and every part of the stay draws on the people and seasons around us, from our gardens to Asaya Spa and the craftspeople that guests will learn from directly. As we prepare to open, our hope is to build an estate that grows with the valley, one that locals, guests and residents feel part of for years to come."
