Rosewood Jeddah Enhances Its Social Responsibility Role

Released 20 April 2022

Rosewood Jeddah Hotel has hosted the Effective Syndrome Association event to highlight its role in serving the community and promoting awareness of special needs children.

The event was organized for 50 boys and girls from the association by inviting them to Sohour meal and gathering. It was an amazing experience for both children and Rosewood Jeddah, it is always great to sponsor and organize such events that help those people to develop, work and socialize.

“Hotels activities are not supposed to be limited to receiving guests and holding business and entertainment events. We in Rosewood Jeddah believe that our role goes way beyond that to reach the last frontier of social responsibility by engaging in activities that contribute to the prosperity and development of all society members” Said Mazen Allam, the Managing Director of Rosewood Jeddah, “hosting the Effective Syndrome association event is not our first CSR events and it definitely won’t be the last.”

Indeed. Rosewood Jeddah has been actively involved in CSR events for the last 10 years because it believes that hotels are like any other huge organizations that have social responsibility toward the surrounding community.

Rosewood Jeddah collaborated with The First Autism Center in Jeddah to produce gift boxes for the hotel VIPs and partners. In 2021, Rosewood Jeddah has participated in providing dinner boxes to the staff of King Fahad General Hospital as an expression of gratitude to those frontline white warriors who stood against COVID-19.

For the purpose of increasing public awareness of autism and integrating children who have it into society, Rosewood Jeddah has organized various events and activities for different community segments including art exhibitions, face-painting sessions and marathons.

Rosewood Jeddah will never neglect its crucial role in contributing to all devoted efforts that aim to improve the lives of all society members including the special needs ones.

About Rosewood Jeddah

Rosewood Jeddah is a window into the culture of Saudi Arabia. Set along the Corniche, the city’s most celebrated waterfront, the stay sits between shore and sky, opening onto unobstructed views of the Red Sea. The sculptural façade of vertical fins, inspired by intricately carved mashrabiya screens, rises high above the coastline. Inside, the 127 rooms and suites blend modern comfort with elegant Arabic design. Gastronomy at three distinct destinations is equally rooted in the Hejaz region: from hibiscus-infused drinks with panoramic vistas at Soleil to seafood grilled over an open flame at Al Malaki Lounge. Guests are invited to experience modern Jeddah from new perspectives, whether through a historic walking tour, Arabic calligraphy class or serene swim in the rooftop pool.
