Rosewood Villa Magna presents Art Afternoon Tea, the new gourmet-cultural experience for spring
Rosewood Villa Magna hotel continues its commitment to Spanish art through a new program of cultural experiences, created in collaboration with Opera Gallery.
Rosewood Villa Magna is launching a new cultural experience called Art Afternoon Tea, a sophisticated initiative that continues the work of this ultra luxury hotel in supporting the artistic and cultural wealth of Madrid and sharing it important tradition of the arts.
The cultural experiences are available from April 20 until September 1, 2023. During this time visitors can enjoy enlightening insights into the 5 works Manolo Valdés, displayed throughout Rosewood Villa Magna, as well as visits to some of the city’s most celebrated galleries. For art lovers looking for a deep dive into the paintings and sculptures of Manolo Valdés, this cultural afternoon experience can be enhanced with an additional guided visit with Raquel Sáez to Madrid’s art galleries.
From June the legendary Museo del Prado will also be available as part of the experience, with a visit to "Picasso-El Greco", an exceptional exhibition that explores the artistic dialogue between two renowned artists: Pablo Picasso and El Greco.
Each Art Afternoon Tea experience is led by Rosewood Villa Magna’s specialist art expert and guide Raquel Sáez, who with over 20 years of expertise in fine art, gives guests an illuminating perspective on the collections as well as on the world of Spanish art and culture in general.
The complete experience will begin with a meeting at Flor y Nata, the hotel’s gastronomic pastry shop and café, and includes a gourmet coffee or tea ‘to-go’ before the art tour, followed by afternoon tea in Flor y Nata, including a handcrafted Milk Chocolate Éclair, by the hotel’s talented pastry chef Emanuel Alvés, made with Valencia oranges and milk, in homage to the world-renowned Valencian-born artist Manolo Valdés.
