This year, Matthieu Carlin, Executive Pastry Chef at the Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, has created his unmissable Yule Log in collaboration with the designer Victoria Wilmotte, resulting in a truly striking work of art, full of the promise of luscious indulgence

Combining Matthieu Carlin’s expertise and Victoria Wilmotte’s distinctive approach and striking visual style, the two extraordinary talents have come together to create a one-of-a-kind yule log.

The sweet confection pairs the ultra-clean, uncluttered lines beloved by the designer together with Chef’s gourmet nostalgic flavours: Petit Suisse fromage frais mousse coupled with a Tahitian vanilla rice pudding layer followed by a light Joconde sponge base with smooth, creamy caramel – designed to delight tastebuds.

On December 16th and 17th, from 10am to 7pm, within the beautifully decorated Historical Salons, Hôtel de Crillon invites you to explore a carefully curated selection of gift ideas from its partner brands: Hôtel de Crillon's products, jewelry, candles, Butterfly Pâtisserie's delicacies and much more to be unveiled...

Enjoy a unique shopping experience in the heart of the holiday season in Paris, where every corner holds treasures to offer to your loved ones or add to your gift list.

Hôtel de Crillon is also actively supporting Aïda by inviting the association to participate at the market and by donating part of its profits.
Aïda is launching its "Christmas in hospital" campaign to bring little joy to young people in hospital and to satisfy their request for 10,000 gifts.

Galette des Rois

Matthieu Carlin, Head Pastry Chef, celebrates Butterfly Pâtisserie's first epiphany wih a gourmet hazelnut and lemon galette concealing a tiny bean, a noed to the butterfly that is the emblem of Butterfly Pâtisserie.

The galette is made with a hazelnut frangipane and topped with lemon zest for a subtle touch of freshness, and a praline coulis is poured over the cake to enhance its creaminess. Tuile biscuit butterflies add a delicate touch to the decor of the galette, in a nod to Butterfly Pâtisserie.
