Bar Les Ambassadeurs

November 1, 2019

Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel proudly houses what is widely regarded as one of the greatest bars in Paris, Les Ambassadeurs, frequented by Parisians and international guests alike.

With unparalleled views of the Place de la Concorde, one of the most beautiful squares in the world, the hotel announces a series of new launches, including The Concorde Terrace, a new cocktail menu, and a unique entertainment programme with an eclectic mix of new additions for the winter season.

The Concorde Terrace and new music trio Les Ambassadrices

An extension of the Les Ambassadeurs bar, the new Concorde Terrace offers an idyllic setting for both hotel guests and locals. Heated in winter, and open every day from 3pm until midnight, the new terrace welcomes wine enthusiasts and cocktail aficionados alike to try new concoctions, such as the Parisian Mule - a lime and aniseed concoction with Elyx Absolut vodka, ginger beer and orange bitters. Bar guests can expect beautiful floral décor that changes with each season.

To celebrate the arrival of the terrace, Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel is delighted to be launching the new Concord evenings with famous DJs performing every Thursday night from 11pm until 2am, including The Hacker, Nouvelle Vague, Camp Claude, and The Pirouettes.

To add to this impressive lineup, Les Ambassadrices, a new musical ensemble comprising three female artists, will perform every night, from Tuesday to Saturday, exclusively at Les Ambassadeurs. From jazz and soul to hip-hop and funk, Les Ambassadrices will entertain hotel guests in true Parisian style.

A limited edition aperitif tasting and new cocktail menu

L’Ecrin’s Executive Chef Boris Campanella – the hotel's one Michelin star restaurant - unveils a signature aperitif tasting menu at Les Ambassadeurs, available seven days a week. The limited edition offering combines French gastronomy with Russian flair.

Starting with a glass of vodka infused with duck foie gras - enhanced with cherry vinegar - guests will then enjoy a pairing of fig and creamy goat cheese. A slice of a Granny Smith apple sprinkled with parsley and topped with spicy horseradish, completes the unique gastronomic experience.

Les Ambassadeurs is also proud to offer a new cocktail menu, with concoctions including:

The Concorde: An homage to Place de la Concorde, this smooth cocktail mixes pisco (grape brandy) and aquavit (grain brandy) with sweet flavours of pear, hazelnut and chocolate.

Pretty in Pink: An ode to Les Ambassadrices - the new female resident band at Les Ambassadeurs - this Vodka-based pink creation combines Champagne, peach and honey flavours, mixed with Port.

Les Ambassadeurs has a listed décor, designed by award-winning interior designer Chahan Minassian. The majestic polychrome marble and painted ceilings are representative of Parisian grandeur. With the new Concorde Terrace and exciting series of offerings, the bar provides guests and Parisiens alike with the perfect pitstop for cocktails and entertainment this season.
