The indulgences of Rosewood Mayakoba extend from the room to the culinary experiences of each of the distinct dining venues serving innovative international cuisine.

Introducing a new type of culinary experience to the region, La Ceiba Garden & Kitchen is an interactive environment for guests to partake in cooking demonstrations, tastings and even foraging for their own produce from over 45 types of organic vegetation to create exquisite delicacies with unmistakable Mexican flare. The 20,000-square-foot al fresco kitchen and garden only serves food cooked over an open flame in accordance with Mayan tradition and features an extensive variety of organic fruits and vegetables, a unique array of Mexican herbs and spices, and over 20 different sections designated for planting. The garden is also home to various groves of tropical trees native to the Yucatan Peninsula, surrounding a contemporary, fine dining setting anchored by an 18-person communal table. The expert Garden Mixologist directs the seasonal cocktail program at La Ceiba and is available to guide patrons on the specific herbs and spices from the garden that enhance the cocktails paired with their meals. Step-by-step cooking lessons instructed by Executive Chef Alejandro Rojas are also available at La Ceiba for groups or in a private setting.

Rising above the tranquil waters of the main pool and the emerald lagoon below, Casa del Lago, the resort’s signature restaurant, is the perfect setting for an all-day dining experience. Each morning as the sun rises over Mexico, an extensive breakfast buffet features local fare, such as red or green ‘chilaquiles,’ and international favorites, like French toast with wild berries. Following a light poolside menu offered midday, Casa del Lago transforms into an elegant chic ambience in the evening, where guests can delight their palates with modern, contemporary Italian cuisine focused on the freshest products, complemented with warm service. The healthy destination allows guests to order customized smoothies and cold pressed juices daily. Graced with spectacular views of Mexico's Caribbean Sea, Punta Bonita welcomes guests with the warm and familiar style intrinsic to Mexican culture. Offering light lunches and pizzas, as well as Mexican and regional Riviera Maya specialties for dinner either indoors or on the outdoor terrace, the resort’s beach side restaurant is an idyllic venue to share in a casual culinary experience.

An impressive collection of eclectic wines are housed in the resort’s glass-walled Wine Room, which is also used as a private dining space for small groups or romantic dinners for two. La Cava is available by special arrangement.

Housing more than 100 labels of premium tequilas, Agave Azul Sushi Bar & Tequila Library hosts weekly tequila tastings where our expert resident Tequilier shares the art of making and appreciating the “drink of the gods,” while sampling some of the finest labels.
