Ultra-luxury resort debuts new face & body treatments

Riviera Maya, Mexico (January 2018) – Located on its own private island in the heart of Rosewood Mayakoba, Sense, A Rosewood Spa, has partnered with two exclusive skincare lines, Maison Caulières and Evidens de Beauté, to create customized experiences focusing on restoring the face and body.  These innovative treatments, recently added to the award-winning spa’s extensive menu, seamlessly complement Sense Spa’s use of traditional Mexican healing techniques inspired by ancient Mayan practices, a unique approach to health and wellness carefully designed to rejuvenate the mind, body and soul.

“Maison Caulières and Evidens de Beauté are two advanced skincare lines dedicated to changing the way we age,” says Emmanuel Arroyo, Regional Director of Wellness, Rosewood Mayakoba.  “We are excited to introduce our guests to our new, innovative face and body treatments that are both ultra-luxurious and incredibly effective.”

Founded by the Caulières family, Maison Caulières, has introduced an array of Body Sense experiences incorporating their exquisite body care products focusing on purifying and balancing the skin.  Each treatment showcases products featuring cold-pressed oils and nutrient-rich honey, all extracted from the family’s 250-year old county estate located in the heart of the French countryside.

Treatments include:

  • Lights of the Season: The 120-minute full-body experience takes guests on a holistic journey through fall, winter, spring and summer, and purifies, calms and stimulates the body based on the targeted season.  The treatment combines a full body scrub with an extensive massage, resulting in the body’s restoration and revival.
  • A Time To Dream: Inspired by the warm of the sun, the 90-minute treatment is intended to increase energy, circulation and cellular renewal. The experience incorporates a full-body exfoliation, a warm dry skin oil treatment, and concludes with an energetic massage.

EviDenS de Beauté, an anti-aging skincare pioneer fusing Japanese beauty technology and French elegance, has introduced Essential Skin Care treatments incorporating the luxury brand’s regenerating products that are engineered to hydrate and encourage the natural production of collagen.  Founded by Charles-Edouard Barthes, EviDenS de Beauté was created for his Japanese wife Eriko Nakamura as an ultra-enriching antidote for her sensitive skin.

Treatments include:
  • Fresh & Tone Skin Care Ritual: This 60-minute “icy wake-up” results in in-depth firming for the face.  This treatment revitalizes, hydrates and intensively nourishes the skin during a triple cleansing facial and a relaxing massage for the face.
  • 360 Global Anti-Aging experience: The ultimate in skin recovery, this 90-minute treatment was developed to maximize the skin’s beauty and smooth the signs of aging. This eight-step experience includes a specialized bio-collagen treatment mask, a back and scalp massage and more.
