Rosewood Phuket, the first Southeast Asia resort for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts®, sensitively showcases its exquisite location while celebrating the group’s A Sense of Place® philosophy. Innovative architecture with subtle Thai influences blends into the hillside forest situated by a secluded, expansive beachfront.
The resort is located 60 minutes from Phuket International Airport on the 1,968-foot (600-meter) Emerald Bay beachfront in southwestern Phuket, one of the island’s last remaining areas for a secluded beach enclave.
The resort offers 71 pavilions and villas including seven Garden Pool Pavilions (130 square meters), twelve Partial Ocean Pool Pavilion (130 square meters), 23 Ocean View Pool Pavilions (130 square meters), eight Beachfront Pool Pavilions (146 square meters), nine Beachfront Pool Villas (326 square meters), six Ocean View Pool Villas (211 square meters), four Two-Bedroom Ocean View Pool Pavilions (253 square meters), one Two-Bedroom Beach House (796 square meters). and one Two-Bedroom Ocean House (796 square meters). All provide privacy and spectacular views of the Andaman Sea. With a minimum area of 130 square meters, pavilions and villas include separate lounge and dining spaces, private terrace pool, garden, and outdoor shower and bath.
Meetings and Events
The residential-style venue includes a private entrance, elegant relaxation areas, meeting spaces, open kitchen and terraces for events of up to 250 guests for cocktail receptions. The self-contained wedding pavilion, steps from the beach and with high ceilings and full-length windows that can be opened to the sea breezes and allow 180-degree bay views, includes an arrival courtyard, bridal preparation room, private outdoor garden and terrace for ceremonies.
Restaurants and Bars
Four restaurants and bars serve authentic international and local cuisines.
Red Sauce, a southern Italian inspired restaurant with dramatic ocean views; 60 seats indoors and 60 seats outdoors
The Shack situated poolside, a rustic restaurant serving the best local and international seafood dishes; 44 seats
Mai, a sophisticated poolside lounge and bar deck area; 42 seats under cover and 68 seats on the terrace
Ta Khai a rustic beachside restaurant for authentic, simple and traditional dishes; 160 seats
Complimentary recreation facilities include: an organic free-form pool with Jacuzzi, lap pool, activity pool, children’s pool; fitness center with movement studio and children’s club.
Asaya, an innovative, integrative wellness concept, features “Wellness Ateliers” upon arrival, where a range of experts create bespoke experiences for guests. Six suites include one signature wellness suite to cater to small groups of friends with dedicated treatment areas, outdoor relaxation space and Watsu pool.
