As a centerpiece of the celebration, a mural by Mexican artist Tanya Talamante was unveiled in collaboration with the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende. Conceived as a permanent artistic intervention in the public space, the work explores the relationship between identity, territory, and collective memory, drawing inspiration from the cultural narratives and creative richness that define the city.

The celebration continued in Jardín Fuente with a cocktail reception where art and artisanal tradition took center stage. Artisans who have collaborated with the hotel since its early days showcased some of their pieces, sharing with guests the craftsmanship that forms part of San Miguel de Allende’s creative spirit. Among the works presented was El Corazón de San Miguel, an 80-centimeter papier-mâché piece by local artist Hermes Arroyo, which was live-intervened by Guadalajara-based artist Juan Carlos Santoscoy. Known for his distinctive tinta hilo technique, Santoscoy combines bold colors, abstract composition, and experimental materials to create visual narratives that explore emotion, movement, and energy.

Following the cocktail reception, guests enjoyed a celebratory dinner conceived as a gastronomic journey through the hotel’s culinary offerings. Each course represented one of the property’s restaurants, creating a narrative that reflected the diversity and contemporary character of Rosewood San Miguel de Allende’s cuisine. Highlights included dishes such as shrimp tartare with tomatillo emulsion, duck confit tamal with green mole, pescado a la talla with green chile, and beef tenderloin with truffle and goat cheese.
