ANOTHER WORLD

Bermuda is another world away 700 miles at sea from the nearest coast and has a long history of sailing, fishing and trading. At Rosewood Tucker’s Point, we are proud to give our guests the opportunity to experience firsthand the bounties of our very special surroundings. Guests are greeted on the dock with gourmet breakfast sandwiches, hot coffee, tea selections and freshly squeezed juices as they are shown around the commercial fishing boat that will be taking them out deep sea fishing. Once aboard and on their way to the fishing grounds, the guests are introduced to the fishing equipment, and given helpful hints on reeling in ‘the big one’. On the boat guests can enjoy a morning snack box prepared by our chefs. After a few hours of great deep sea fishing and with fish in the hold, the return trip is made to the hotel. On arriving back to the hotel, guests are met by the chef and taken to the “Tartare” class, with their catch. Here the chef will expertly explain how to prepare tartare in several different ways depending on the type of fish caught in the morning. Tartare lunch is then served and enjoyed on the Point Terrace. Excursion is weather dependent.

BERMUDA GOURMET SAFARI

A progressive rum tasting and degustation is conducted in our very own coffee chine and Chef’s garden. This experience provides our guests with a unique educational experience coupled with elegant outdoor dining. The safari aspect consists of a guided walk into the lush coffee chine as the sun is setting, arriving at a tasting of a rum selection infused with local botanicals and spices and indigenous cuisine. After the tasting, guests are taken back up to the far end of the chine path and end with a five-course Chef’s degustation dinner in the herb garden overlooking the chine, utilizing a menu featuring local seafood and produce in an elegant outdoor setting, paired by the Sommelier’s selection of wine.

SUNSET TO STARGAZING

An exclusive dining experience with the entire stretch of the beach and evening sky as your dining room. Guests are led down to the water’s edge where a beach lounge area, with a mini fire place and sound of the waves awaits their arrival. The arrival is timed just before sunset allowing for two very distinct experiences — sunset cocktails and stargazing drinks after dinner. The tableside experience features a five-course set menu with wine pairing, giving focus to Provençal cuisine. Upon completion of the meal, guests can relax in the lounge area while enjoying a digestif, coffee or tea.

CHEF’S TABLE AT THE POINT

Aunique & educational culinary experience that places guests in the middle of an operational commercial kitchen. Surrounded by an international brigade of working chefs, guests see and experience first hand, the operation of a luxury resort’s main kitchen. The chef will guide guests through a specially personalized degustation menu with the chef presenting each course table-side. The menu is paired with wines selected by our sommelier and served with each course. Each pairing’s significance will be explained by the team as the courses arrive.

360 THE MURALS EXPERIENCE

Taking inspiration from the Pan Am Sky Club Murals on display at The Point, Chef Gerry Adams has created a ten-course menu that takes diners on an epicurean journey highlighting the ingredients and culinary style of 19th century ports of call around the globe. From Ceviche in Rio de Janeiro, Fish and Chips in London to a classic local specialty of Bermuda Rockfish with Peas and Rice, diners have the choice of embarking on a five, seven, or ten course journey that pleases the palate, and nourishes the soul.

This experience can be enjoyed every night in The Point dining room.
