May 1-June 30, 2014
Cancel 14 days prior to arrival to avoid penalty of 2 nights plus a 19% tax and 15% Resort Fee.

July 1-October 31, 2014
Cancel 7 days prior to arrival to avoid penalty of 2 nights plus a 19% tax and 15% Resort Fee.

November 1-December 14, 2014
Cancel 14 days prior to arrival to avoid penalty of 2 nights plus a 19% tax and 15% Resort Fee.

December 15-December 31, 2014 
Cancel 90 days prior to arrival to avoid penalty of total stay plus a 19% tax and 15% Resort Fee.

Change Policy: Changes to reservations may be subject to different minimum length stay requirements.

Early Departure Policy: In the event of an early departure all originally confirmed room nights will be charged.

Currency Policy: Mexican law prohibits cash transactions in currencies other than Mexican Pesos.

Children
Children of all ages are welcome at the resort. There is no charge for two children 11 years old or under staying in parents' room. For children 12 years old and above, staying in parents' room, there is a USD100 charge per night, subject to *19 percent tax and 15 percent resort fee. Cribs for infants are available complimentary but must be requested at time of booking. Children's menus are available. 

Pet Policy
Rosewood Mayakoba welcomes pets weighing up to 10 pounds. There will be a USD100 charge (plus *16% tax) for the first three days of the stay. For additional days beyond the first three, the daily charge will change to USD25 per day (plus *16% tax).

Pets are not allowed in restaurants, bars, pools, beaches or surrounding areas due to Mexican Sanitary Standards. If your pet is in a public area, please use a leash or put it in its carrier and refrain from leaving your pet unattended.

*Recently the Mexican Congress approved a tax reform bill which increases the Value Added Tax ("VAT") from 11% to 16%, effective January 1, 2014. The 3% lodging tax will remain as is.
