Temazcal Journey The Temazcal treatment is a union of the elements of life with aromas that wake ancestral memory and guide you back to the womb of Mother Nature. This purifying bath is based on traditional Mayan healing methods. The bath’s steam is produced by a combination of herbal water and volcanic rocks, a powerful natural detoxifier. The treatment tightens and hydrates skin, and provides a welcome respite from stress. 60 mins.
Mayan Equinox Ritual This exclusive experience, inspired by Mayan culture, will relieve you of stress and prepare you for a new beginning. The equinox ritual begins with a blessing using copal, as the Mayan warriors did before battle. Afterwards, you will enjoy a full-body exfoliation and wrap as well as a mask that contains a luxurious mix of jade, gold and silver to nourish and protect your skin. We conclude the ritual with a 90-minute mineralizing massage. 2.5 hrs.
Escape Together: Sun & Moon Journey Experience a retreat of togetherness where time has no meaning; where body, mind and spirit return to perfect harmony. The journey starts at your suite where you will be picked up by boat for a private arrival to the spa. Mayan Garden Detoxifying Ritual This purifying treatment is inspired by local plants and nutrients. Your therapist will select herbs from our Mayan garden to prepare a detoxifying recipe rich in minerals and antioxidants. This body mask of Mayan clay and herbs, including rosemary and eucalyptus, is applied to the body to moisturize and release toxins. Once dry, it is removed with water and an exfoliating cloth of cactus fibers. The renewing full-body experience concludes with a relaxing hot stone massage. 2.5 hrs.

Spa Etiquette & Policies
Arrivals Treatments are carefully planned to accommodate each and every guest. In a spirit of mutual respect, we kindly request that you arrive on time. We encourage you to arrive at least an hour prior to your appointment to enjoy the exclusive facilities and to have consultation time with your therapist. Late arrivals will be finished within the scheduled treatment time while the fee will remain unchanged.
Cancellations Please allow 12 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of treatment to avoid a 100% charge.
Children Young adults over the age of 16 are welcome to visit the spa or fitness center.
Etiquette Our spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. In consideration to other spa guests, please switch off mobile phones and respect the non-smoking zone.
Health Please assist us by informing us of any allergies or injuries that may make the treatment you have chosen unsuitable. We will be happy to advise safer alternatives.
In-Suite Treatments The spa offers in-suite massages. A surcharge of $30 USD will apply for any in-suite treatment.
Jewelry We recommend that no jewelry be worn to the spa. Management accepts no responsibility for the loss of valuables brought onto the spa premises.
Pregnancy We have specially designed treatments for expectant mothers. Please allow us to assist you in selecting suitable treatments for this special time.
Spa Amenities On arrival you will be supplied with a luxurious bathrobe and sandals as well as a locker for your clothing and personal belongings. You will also find ample soft cotton towels throughout the spa area.Upon request, we will provide additional spa amenities. Discreet disposable underwear is provided for all body treatments.
Spa, Fitness & Salon Hours All guests have complimentary access to the resort’s spa, available every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Facilities include a heated pool, variety of juices, sauna and steam room, Jacuzzi, plunge pool and relaxation areas. Fitness center facilities are available from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. Spa and salon treatments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. However, with sufficient notice, we will always attempt to accommodate in-house guests that require a treatment outside of these hours. We recommend scheduling treatments well in advance to ensure availability and preferred appointment times.
Groups Please note that pre-booking for all treatments is essential. Group bookings are classified as treatments booked for four or more guests and need to be made a minimum of seven days in advance.Cancellations need to be made a minimum of four days prior to appointments booked. Cancellations made within 96 hours of treatments or no arrival on the day will incur full charges. Credit card details are required to guarantee treatment bookings. Full payment for group bookings needs to be made upon confirmation of booking.
