Bangkok, Thailand – This January, Play Art House invites travelers, culture-seekers, and lovers of local craftsmanship to step inside Made in Thai-Hands, an evocative new exhibition unfolding at The Gallery on the 3rd floor of Rosewood Bangkok from January 22 to March 20, 2026. Curated by independent artist Seada Samdao, the exhibition gathers ten Thai artists whose works explore and honor Thailand’s heritage craft through material, process, and hand.

A JOURNEY THROUGH THAILAND’S LIVING TRADITIONS

Like a journey through Thailand’s varied landscapes, Made in Thai-Hands invites visitors to draw closer. The exhibition reveals craft through process and presence, where patience is woven into every thread, instinct guides each layer of pigment, and materials are shaped by years of practiced hands. Each piece carries a tangible sense of human labor at the core of Thai artistry. Honoring the enduring rhythms of making, the exhibition also highlights the bold perspectives of a new generation carrying these traditions forward.

Featured artists include:

Chusak Srikwan, Donruedi Bunkaeo, Jakchai Pedparnkun, Jiranan Mobandit, Kamon Indigo, Lazuli, Sasiwimol Chonlabut, Somruthai Wongyai, Thaworn Kobnoy, and Yerrinda Kaewsuwan—each bringing their own dialogue between past and future, mastery and imagination.

Seada Samdao is an independent artist and curator whose work vibrates at the intersection of tradition and contemporary narrative. Known for weaving classic Thai aesthetics with modern sensibilities, she approaches curation as a form of storytelling—an invitation to look again at what we believe we already know. With Made in Thai-Hands, she lifts up a century of Thai craftsmanship, illuminating its enduring relevance and its boundless capacity to inspire.
