Luxury Resort in Montecito, CA Hosts Second Annual Dog Show Presented by STAUD with Special Guest Camilla Belle
MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA - Rosewood Miramar Beach, the Forbes Triple Five-Star resort located on an exclusive oceanfront stretch in Montecito, CA announces its fourth annual Miramar Best in Show. Join us Sunday, August 24th from 2pm to 5pm on the Resort’s Great Lawn for a paw-some afternoon with a touch of glamour at Miramar Best in Show presented by STAUD, the LA-based lifestyle brand known for its modern approach to creating timeless classics and perfected novelty. STAUD shares an affinity for all things animals and offers shoppers custom pet portraits on select STAUD pieces and this year, the brand is excited to offer an exclusive Miramar X STAUD Class of 2024 scarf collection to Resort guests. Additionally, this year, Bluejay Electric Bicycles teamed up with STAUD to create a one-of-a-kind Market Stripe bike. Awarded to the Best in Show winner, the exclusive bike is a celebration of the bold colors both brands are known for, and the perfect ride for stylish pups, and their parents. The event is hosted by American Actress, Comedian and Singer Jane Lynch and the Resort’s Managing Director Rick Fidel featuring special guests Actor, Filmmaker and star of Ted Lasso, Cristo Fernandez and American Actress and dog lover, Camilla Belle.

Experience an unforgettable event where guests and locals, accompanied by their furry friends, can vie for the chance to win the ultimate Miramar getaway*, which includes a custom STAUD Pet handbag, two-night stay in a Beach House Guestroom, dinner for two at AMA Sushi, and dinner for two at the resort’s Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star award-winning restaurant, Caruso’s.
Throughout the day, indulge in dog- and adult-friendly specialty beverages like Paw-garitas featuring cantaloupe, coconut milk, and mint for competitors and spectators alike. This year, the resort is excited to introduce exclusive VIP booths for a select few, offering premium views, champagne and caviar service, bite selections, and more. Plus, don’t miss our gourmet hot dog stand, serving up elevated takes on the summer classic—perfect for pups and their people. A portion of proceeds from all sales will benefit regional shelters, Love Leo Rescue and Santa Barbara Humane.
THE COMPETITION Registration for each competitor is USD195, with all proceeds from entries donated to Love Leo Rescue and the Santa Barbara Humane. The event is USD40 per adult and USD25 per child for spectators and welcomes competitors to enter the show to compete in the following categories:

About Love Leo Rescue
Love Leo Rescue is a non-profit based in Los Angeles founded by Sasha Abelson. We are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abused, injured, abandoned and forgotten dogs. We provide medical care, training, and other services to the dogs in our care to help prepare them for adoption and forever homes. Many dogs we rescue require complicated surgeries and costly medical care. In addition, to get to the root of the problem, we launched a spay and neuter program which provides FREE spay and neuter surgeries to people and their pets living in low income and underserved areas. We are dedicated to helping battle the pet overpopulation problem through rescue and preventative programs. To date, we have spayed/neutered close to 2600 dogs/cats. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Santa Barbara Humane is the oldest animal welfare agency in Santa Barbara County, serving the community for over 135 years. The organization’s two campuses in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria provide low-cost veterinary care, affordable dog training, adoption, and socially conscious sheltering for local animals, whether they are with a loving family or at the shelter waiting for a home of their own. Because Santa Barbara Humane does not receive any federal funding, it relies on donor support to help thousands of animals and families each year in Santa Barbara County.
