Rosewood Bangkok Celebrates the Most Joyous Season of the Year With “The Rosewood Edit” Curated Experiences
Greet the festive season with “The Rosewood Edit” for guests to discover rejuvenating treatments at Sense, A Rosewood Spa, extraordinary gifts from around the world, elevated bespoke events and dining experiences at elegant restaurants Lakorn European Brasserie, Nan Bei Chinese restaurant and Lennon’s, the stylish speakeasy bar.
Beginning December 1, ultra-luxury Rosewood Bangkok hotel greets the festive season with “The Rosewood Edit” for guests to discover rejuvenating treatments at Sense, A Rosewood Spa, extraordinary gifts from around the world, elevated bespoke events and dining experiences at elegant restaurants Lakorn European Brasserie, Nan Bei Chinese restaurant and Lennon’s, the stylish speakeasy bar.
Lakorn European Brasserie salutes the season with its “Festive Afternoon Tea” -- a classic English afternoon tea with a French twist and merry flair presents special sweet treats daily to bring holiday sparkle to celebrations from December 3, 2022 to January 8, 2023. Highlights of the Festive Afternoon Tea include White Forest Cake, a luscious Christmas Log and White Christmas Ball. The Festive Afternoon Tea is available from 2 to 5 p.m. at THB1,650 per person
Also at Lakorn, diners are invited to join the “Christmas Eve Dinner” on December 24, a celebratory three-course feast of European favorites. Surrounded by glittering seasonal decorations in a sophisticated setting, the holiday dinner begins with a choice of Blue Crab Salad or Jumbo Asparagus, followed by seasonal Chestnut Soup and a choice of Canadian Lobster or Duck Rossini. Live stations are on offer as well, with premium fresh seafood and carved meat selections. The meal finishes with an assemblage of sweet confections. Entertainment is provided by a live guitarist soloist performance from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Christmas Eve Dinner is priced at THB3,500 per person and available from 6 to 11 p.m.
For the most festive day of the year, Lakorn’s culinary team has prepared Christmas Day lunch specials designed for joyous feasting, available from 12 to 2:30 p.m. Highlights include Roast of the Day to share, such as Roasted Turkey, Pink Peppercorn Rib Eye and Honey-Glazed Roasted Gammon Ham. Each roast comes with three scrumptious sides and two refined sauces.
At year-end, Lakorn guests can celebrate with a special repast at the “New Year’s Eve Dinner” accompanied by a live performance by Natt Buntita, known as Thailand’s “First Lady of Jazz.” An exquisite three-course celebratory dinner prepared with finesse begins with a choice of Canadian Lobster Salad or Foie Gras Terrine, followed by Smoked Corn Soup and a choice of Slow-Braised Short Ribs or Poached Halibut. Guests can also delight in live stations serving up Fresh Oysters, Iberico Ham, Cured Salmon and more, plus an indulgent selection of desserts. The “New Year’s Eve Dinner” on December 31 is available from THB5,500 per person from 7 to 11 p.m. The special performance by Natt Buntita is from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Guests can celebrate the dawn of 2023 with a gastronomical luncheon feast at Lakorn. New Year’s Day specials on 1 January include Roast of the Day Wagyu Sirloin, Sea Bass in Herb-Salted Crust and Grilled Canadian Lobster. Each comes with three delicious sides and two rich sauces for an indulgent touch.
Winter festivities combine with a quintessential oriental experience at Nan Bei, with authentic Chinese dining backdropped by an exhilarating view of the Bangkok skyline. The meticulously curated menu is created by Executive Chef Matthew Geng, a seasoned chef with over 25 years of experience. Patrons can enjoy the finest expression of regional Chinese cuisine from the North and South with special menu highlights available from December 6, 2022 to January 8, 2023. Nan Bei’s two elegant private dining rooms are available for exclusive celebrations on December 31, 2022, with Xi Room for up to 10 persons at a THB50,000 minimum spend and Dong Room for up to 14 persons at THB60,000 minimum spend.
Throughout the season, guests can celebrate at Lennon’s, the yesteryear-style speakeasy bar on Rosewood Bangkok’s 30 th floor, plus revelers can make it a spectacular countdown to remember on New Year’s Eve with internationally acclaimed DJ Goldie, the U.K.-born first mega-star of the jungle movement of the early ‘90s. The legendary beat maestro plays his popular drum’n bass tunes from 9:30 p.m. until the early hours of 2023. New Year’s Eve at Lennon’s starts from 8 p.m. until late and a minimum spend of THB4,500 per person is required. For those looking for extra indulgence, from 10 p.m. until midnight Lennon’s has prepared a free-flow package of hand-picked libations available at THB4,500. Reservations are highly recommended.
To escape the flurry of the festive season and revel in relaxation, guests can treat themselves and someone they love with a specially curated daytime experience. The Festive Afternoon Delight, priced at THB4,600 per person. includes a 60-minute Sense Body Massage at Sense, A Rosewood Spa, followed by Afternoon Tea at Lakorn European Brasserie. The Festive Afternoon Delight is available from December 3, 2022, to January 8, 2023 and the afternoon tea is available daily from 2 to 5 p.m.
For a full 90-minute Sense, A Rosewood Spa retreat, the Langka-Suka treatment, one of the spa’s “Lost Remedies,” features a revival of traditional healing rituals from the Ayutthaya period with an application tian dam flower extract and a hot stone massage to heal and release joint and muscle pain and stimulate blood circulation. The Langka-Suka treatment is available at THB5,200. Guests can also opt for the Rosewood Extreme 360 by EviDenS De Beauté facial, a luxurious 90-minute Rosewood signature treatment to rehydrate and brighten the complexion. Including a ritualistic eight-step process to skin recovery, this facial brings firmness, vitality and radiance to the skin, available at THB6,200.
Rosewood Bangkok also provides private dining rooms in the elegant, residentially styled Pavilion that can accommodate up to 250 guests for special festive celebrations and extravagant holiday parties throughout the season.
