Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco announces 2018 Harvest Experience | Media Hub

Each traveler is equipped with a complete Harvest Kit, which includes all the tools for participating in the wine harvest, including scissors, gloves and boots. After picking up their kit, guests begin the day at the stunning Capanna Vineyard, where the wine experts of Castiglion del Bosco Winery explain the harvest techniques in detail. Guests will then get hands-on experience as they learn how to pick the grapes. The experience continues at the winery, where guests learn about the grape selection and the fermentation and aging phases of Brunello di Montalcino.

After learning about the wine-making process, the experience concludes with a guided wine-tasting experience and picnic featuring 6 wines from Castiglion del Bosco paired with local bites, including a selection of different local Pecorino cheeses as well as freshly prepared salumi, among the vineyards. Guests will also enjoy a luxurious 80-minute spa treatment, the perfect way to relax after a full Harvest day.
