On July 25, 2019, famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will once again perform at Teatro del Silenzio, an open-air amphitheater in the charming countryside of Lajatico, Bocelli’s hometown located a two-hour drive from Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco. Ideal for music-lovers, the resort’s three-night Bocelli Package invites travelers to enjoy the impressive performer’s annual concert, accompanied by an extraordinary orchestra, as well as a choir, dancers, and international special guests.

Tradition-seeking travelers interested in one of Tuscany’s most historic and exciting events can take advantage of the Private Palio Experience, which Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco is offering in honor of the popular Il Palio di Siena horse race, which is set to take place on July 2nd and August 16th. Each year, the iconic horse racing event attracts thousands of travelers from around the world and features horses with jockeys riding bareback and dressed in colored silks representative of their personal contrada, or district. Through the resort’s Private Palio Experience, travelers can discover the rich history and traditions of the horse race from a historic private notable palace overlooking the Piazza - square.
