Rosewood Hotel Georgia Named Five-Star Hotel by Forbes Travel Guide's 2019 Star Rating List
Rosewood Hotel Georgia is pleased to announce that it has been named a Five-Star hotel by Forbes Travel Guide’s prestigious 2019 Star Rating list.
The only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, Forbes Travel Guide’ s annual list has been revered as a global authority on travel since its launch in 1958. Based on the experiences of a highly qualified team of anonymous inspectors who assess over 1,600 entities against up to 900 of the most stringent industry standards, the resulting rating system offers designations for Five-Star, Four-Star and Recommended Properties. As a winning entity, Rosewood Hotel Georgia is showcased on ForbesTravelGuide.com.
“We are thrilled to see Rosewood Hotel Georgia achieve a Five-Star rating on Forbes Travel Guide’s 2019 Star Rating list, supported by Sense, A Rosewood Spa and Hawksworth Restaurant, for the seventh year in a row,” “ Forbes Travel Guide’s recognition of Rosewood Hotel Georgia reinforces the property’s commitment to providing guests with exceptional experiences and superlative service.”
Brad Simmons, director of sales and marketing at Rosewood Hotel Georgia
Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, Rosewood Hotel Georgia combines the grandeur of the Roaring Twenties with contemporary design and comfort. First opened in 1927 as Hotel Georgia, the historic property re-opened as Rosewood Hotel Georgia in 2011 following a full restoration and has since played host to a who’s who of the entertainment world including Elvis Presley, Nat "King" Cole, Katharine Hepburn, and British royalty. Today, the legendary boutique hotel features 156 guest accommodations, an award-winning Sense, A Rosewood Spa, and four distinct dining venues including 1920’s style speakeasy Prohibition and tasteful rooftop venue Reflections: The Garden Terrace.
“We are delighted to celebrate the 2019 Star Rating winners, an outstanding collection of hotels, restaurants and spas that demonstrates a strong culture of service,” “In a time of information overload and fake reviews online, Forbes Travel Guide is the ultimate trusted source in luxury travel,” Boyen said. “Our objective, data-driven Star Rating list features properties that achieved an impeccable standard of excellence in hospitality. We congratulate everyone associated with the prestigious properties recognized today.”
