Rosewood Hotel Georgia Receives Top Honors From Forbes Travel Guide and TripAdvisor

VANCOUVER, BC – Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Vancouver’s preeminent luxury hotel is pleased to announce that the hotel and the hotel’s Sense, A Rosewood Spa® have been awarded Five-Star ratings for the second consecutive year on the annual Forbes Travel Guide Star Rating list. Rosewood Hotel Georgia first appeared on the Forbes list in 2013, when it became the first hotel in Canada to earn the highest rating and is still one of only 97 hotels in the world to achieve the prestigious Five-Star ranking. The property is also pleased to announce its newly-earned TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice awards, which recognized Rosewood Hotel Georgia on the ‘Top 25 Hotels in the World” list and at #2 on the “Top 25 Hotels in Canada.” The property has been recognized as a top hotel by TripAdvisor travelers since opening in 2011.

Forbes Travel Guide’s ratings, the most comprehensive in the industry, are based on objective evaluations of more than 550 attributes at each rated hotel and over 150 attributes for each rated spa, providing a standardized Five-Star rating system that consumers around the world can rely on when planning to travel. The list now includes 97 Five-Star hotels—the most in Forbes Travel Guide’s history— 48 Five-Star restaurants and 41 Five-Star spas, plus 296 Four-Star hotels, 186 Four-Star restaurants and 149 Four-Star spas located in cities across the globe.
TripAdvisor’s annual Travelers’ Choice award winners are selected annually based on feedback from millions of TripAdvisor members. Established in 2002, the Travelers' Choice awards are the highest honor TripAdvisor can bestow on a travel brand and are based on service, quality and customer satisfaction reviews from travelers around the world.
