Rosewood London and Goldbergh serve up style at Centre Courtyard
Rosewood London welcomed guests to its Centre Courtyard for an exclusive tennis-inspired luncheon created in partnership with Dutch luxury sportswear brand Goldbergh, transforming the iconic Edwardian space into an elegant celebration of style, sport and hospitality during the British summer tennis season.
Building on the success of their winter collaboration, The Chalet at Rosewood London, the two luxury brands reunited to create a distinctive seasonal experience that brought together elevated hospitality and contemporary sportswear in one immersive setting.
At the heart of the installation was a tennis court-inspired table for 40, complete with a bespoke green tablecloth designed to evoke the geometry of a tennis court, finished with pleated sides referencing tailoring detail found in Goldbergh’s collection. Running across the table, a sculptural floral net woven from 700 stems of delicate white British delphiniums, referenced the traditional tennis net while echoing the floral embellishments from Goldbergh's collection.
Guests enjoyed an intimate four-course British summer lunch featuring Cornish crab, lobster raviolo and Loch Duart salmon, paired with Kentish wines. Hosts styled in Goldbergh's tennis collection served throughout, accompanied by a live performance from rising British vocalist Cherise and her ensemble.
The lunch closed with a theatrical dessert moment. A 1.35-metre strawberries and cream roulade presented on a trolley draped in a deep green pleated cloth and hand-piped in Goldbergh’s signature print, before being sliced and served in front of guests.
Goldbergh's visual identity was woven throughout the experience, from geometric black-and-white place settings inspired by the brand's iconic prints to the take-home gift, Goldbergh's Brisano silk scarf, presented in a custom-branded box. The Centre Courtyard Smash cocktail will remain available at Mirror Room throughout the summer, extending the collaboration beyond the event itself.
SAME DNA, NEW SEASON
While celebrated for redefining luxury skiwear, Goldbergh has always been more than a winter sports brand. Its tennis collection carries the same performance-driven philosophy that established its reputation on the slopes, translating technical innovation and precision tailoring into elevated pieces designed for life on and off the court.
Combining innovative fabrics, contemporary silhouettes and heritage-inspired detailing, the collection balances functionality with effortless sophistication. From tennis dresses and skirts to polos, rackets and accessories, each piece reflects Goldbergh's commitment to premium sportswear that empowers modern women across every season.
