Rosewood Mayakoba Partners With Disney·Pixar To Bring Toy Story 4 To Life For Families This Summer

Released 7 May 2019

Riviera Maya, Mexico – This summer, families can rejoice in the magic of Disney•Pixar’s latest film in theaters June 21st 2019, Toy Story 4 at Rosewood Mayakoba, allowing the enchantment and holiday fun of this epic animated adventure to touch the hearts of both adults and kids alike. Parents will reconnect with their inner child, while the resort’s youngest guests can live a summer full of adventure and discovery in one of the world’s most beautiful and serene destinations.

Timed to the launch of one of the most anticipated sequels of the year, Toy Story 4 will not only hit movie screens in June, but the experience will also come to life at the luxury resort, where guests of all ages can enjoy the white sand beaches of the Riviera Maya and surrounding lush mangroves, and indulge in the refined and inviting setting of the award-winning Rosewood Mayakoba. To make it easier to celebrate this fun-filled offering with the entire family, guests will receive a 50% discount on a second suite when reserved for additional loved ones and friends.

Upon arrival, families will be consumed by the enchantment of Disney•Pixar, where they will be given the opportunity to take a themed welcome photo in one of the hotel spaces. Characters such as Woody, Jessie, Andy, Mr. Potato Head, Buzz Lightyear and others will help frame the start to a fun summer holiday under the sun.

From check-in to check-out, a variety of unique surprises await guests at Rosewood Mayakoba with exclusive amenities inspired by Disney·Pixar’s Toy Story 4 that are only available at the resort. Offering a magical touch to an already unforgettable experience, little ones will be given a movie-inspired welcome amenity, and each day will receive fun services and healthy food options to help transport guests to the world of Toy Story and remind them of the adventures of Woody throughout their stay.

As in every film, Woody’s escapades in Toy Story 4 focus on taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. When Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky, declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep, and an adventure he and his friends won’t soon forget. Just as the travels of these witty characters bring the toys on an action-packed adventure, guests of Rosewood Mayakoba will be immersed in the same exciting and carefree spirit from start to finish.

The unique experiences being offered this summer in partnership with Disney•Pixar provide a exciting addition to the children’s programming that is offered year round through Rosewood Explorers, where the resort’s littlest guests can indulge in entertainment activities, theme nights, children’s spa treatments and activities to awaken their environmental awareness.

About Toy Story 4

Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts). After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries.

Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date”), and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”), Disney·Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.
