Montecito, CA – The new year brings new adventures to Rosewood Miramar Beach, nestled in the coastal town of Montecito, CA. Positioned on one of California’s most iconic beaches, Miramar Beach, the Resort is pleased to announce Miramar Surf Club, a new program in partnership with Gold Coast Adventure Company. Owned and operated by local surf legend, Adam Lambert, this program will offer surfing and more to guests of all skill levels.

The Experience

Honoring the destination’s traditions, the Resort teamed up with Montecito local and professional surfer turned surf school &. Adventure company owner, Adam Lambert, to create Miramar Surf Club. Adam, who learned to swim on Miramar Beach, and his team of highly skilled professionals guide guests through a surfing journey from start to finish. Whether a novice eager to catch a first wave or an experienced surfer looking to refine their skills, the Resort welcomes guests to dive into this unforgettable experience, which includes top-quality surfing gear, a personalized highlight video of the lesson, delectable beachside lunches, and more.

The Expert

Adam Lambert began surfing at the age of four when his father pushed him into his first wave at Miramar Beach. He naturally excelled and climbed through the ranks as a competitive surfer going from amateur to professional on the world tour, gradually developing his skills under the coaching of some of the best in the business, including Joe and Tom Curren, Mike Lamm and Dave Letinske. Over the years Adam developed a classic Santa Barbara power surfing style, which is complemented by a skilled air attack and creative approach to riding every wave. Adam opened Gold Coast Surf School in 2021 with Gold Coast Adventure Company launching Feb 1, 2024. Adam is passionate about sharing his love and knowledge of surfing and Santa Barbara.
