Rosewood Miramar Beach Announces Performers For Inaugural Christmas Tree Lighting

Rosewood Miramar Beach, Southern California’s newest ultra-luxury destination for discerning travelers worldwide, announced today a dynamic line up of holiday performers for the resort’s inaugural Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. The show, which begins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, will officially kick off Montecito’s festive season with live musical performances, celebrity appearances, the season’s first snowfall and a special seaside appearance by Santa Claus.

Emceeing the signature holiday event will be Spectrum News 1 Anchors, Giselle Fernandez and Melvin Robert. At the top of the show will be “American Idol” alum Pia Toscano singing the National Anthem followed by a duet with Manor Bar’s resident soul artist, Brandon Wattz. Headlining the evening is Nate Ruess, the singer-songwriter whose solo studio album Grand Romantic debuted to rave reviews. Rounding off the show is dynamic, gospel-inspired Christmas entertainment from Jason McGee & The Choir. The evening will conclude with the highly-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus himself on the resort’s Great Lawn to light the Christmas Tree and ignite the holiday season in Montecito.

Guests are invited to watch as the resort is transformed into a beguiling winter wonderland for all to enjoy. The magnificent Rosewood Miramar Beach Christmas tree will be one of the largest displays in the country, towering 60 feet over the picturesque Great Lawn and featuring more than 7,000 sparkling lights and an assortment of graceful boughs decked with 6,000 ornaments each. Before the show, revelers of all ages will be invited to relish in a selection of themed activities, live local music and other amusements beginning at 5:30 p.m.

For those staying at Rosewood Miramar Beach through the weekend, a bespoke Miramar Tree Lighting Package will offer suite accommodations, dining and spa credits and VIP seating at the ceremony. A selection of special holiday amenities, including a personal, in-suite tree with curated trimmings and monogrammed stockings, can be enjoyed as part of this festive resort offering. The Tree Lighting Package will be offered for arrivals on November 27 for stays of four-nights or more.

Miramar’s Tree Lighting Celebration officially launches the holiday season with a series of festive offerings from Thanksgiving dinner and decadent Christmas Brunch to seasonal spa treatments and photos at Santa’s Bungalow.

Ridesharing for the November 27 event is highly encouraged. Complimentary event parking and shuttle service will be available at the Music Academy of the West, located on Fairway Road in Montecito.
