Rosewood Sand Hill Partners With JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset To Launch Wine Tasting Salon

Now through February 2020, the JCB Wine Tasting Salon at Rosewood Sand Hill will feature a variety of wines by the glass, bottle and flight, accompanied by light bites crafted by the chefs of the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Madera. Each wine featured on the tasting salon’s specially curated menu is from JCB, a collection of rare wines composed by Jean-Charles Boisset that unite centuries of his family’s French Burgundian tradition with his passion for California.

The Events Studio at Rosewood Sand Hill, located just off the lobby near the hotel’s Library & Bar, has been transformed into a decadent lounge to celebrate the exceptional wines of JCB. In the space, Jean-Charles has showcased his Franco-American style with sumptuous and opulent décor, mixing warm colors to provide a relaxed setting for guests to enjoy and fully experience each tasting note of the specialty blends.

The wine menu at the JCB pop up gratifies a range of palettes, with labels ranging from the NV Gala Rosé, a sparkling wine from Epernay, to a 2017 N°81, a Chardonnay created on the Sonoma Coast, to the 2015 THE SURREALIST by JCB, a Cabernet Sauvignon Blend from Napa Valley. In addition to wine, the lobby-side pop up will also showcase the glassware, fragrances and jewelry created and hand-selected by Jean-Charles himself.

The JCB Wine Tasting Salon at Rosewood Sand Hill will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
