Beginning August 1, 2026, Rosewood Vienna is introducing a new treatment concept at Asaya Spa in partnership with Austrian skincare and spa brand Susanne Kaufmann. Inspired by Austria's alpine wellness traditions, the treatments unite scientifically grounded skincare, traditional massage techniques, and the restorative power of alpine botanicals, weaving the country's wellbeing expertise into the guest experience.

In the heart of Vienna's Old Town, Asaya Spa has never aspired to be a traditional hotel spa, but rather a retreat for personal wellbeing journeys. Guided by the philosophy "The Foundation of Your Wellbeing," each experience meets guests where they are, opening individual paths toward balance and regeneration. The arrival of Susanne Kaufmann, a brand rooted in Austria's Bregenzerwald and renowned for more than two decades of combining alpine botanicals with cutting-edge scientific research, deepens that philosophy through a distinctly Austrian lens.

The partnership also completes Rosewood Vienna's vision of showcasing the breadth of Austrian wellbeing traditions. Through its existing collaboration with MAYRLIFE Day Clinic Vienna, guests already have access to Modern Mayr Medicine, a clinically guided approach to preventive health rooted in Altaussee. Susanne Kaufmann complements that offering with nature-led rituals. The new treatment menu includes a selection of signature facials, body treatments, and holistic rituals developed by Susanne Kaufmann for Asaya Spa. Guests can also extend the experience into the privacy of their room through the Bespoke Bathing Ritual, where practitioners prepare a personalised bath using alpine botanical essences selected to suit individual needs. The products used during the ritual may then be taken home, allowing guests to continue the experience long after their stay.

Beyond individual treatments, Rosewood Vienna invites guests to experience wellbeing as a journey. At the heart of this philosophy is the signature Journey of Renewal, a full-day programme that unfolds through guided yoga, nourishing culinary moments, sound healing and breathwork, a restorative massage, and the Bespoke Bathing Ritual, which brings the experience to a close.
