Rosewood Phnom Penh is delighted to announce that Sense, A Rosewood Spa has been awarded the prestigious title of “Cambodia’s Best Hotel Spa 2024” by the World Spa Awards. This recognition highlights the spa's dedication to delivering an exceptional wellness experience that celebrates the unique traditions of ancient Khmer healing.
Renowned for setting the international standard of excellence in the spa industry, the World Spa Awards invite both industry professionals and consumers to vote for the finest spa experiences around the globe. Sense, A Rosewood Spa stood out for its commitment to offering personalized care rooted in centuries-old Khmer healing practices, expertly combined with modern therapies.
“We are honored to receive this award, which reflects the dedication of our spa team to delivering transformative experiences. What truly sets us apart is our embrace of traditional Khmer healing methods, which have been passed down through generations. These ancient practices help us offer more than just relaxation—they offer deep healing and renewal,” said Daniel Simon, Managing Director of Rosewood Phnom Penh. “At Sense, A Rosewood Spa, we aim to create a sanctuary where guests can find peace and restoration, allowing them to reconnect with themselves.”
Perched on the 33rd floor of the hotel, Sense, A Rosewood Spa is an oasis of tranquility, designed to provide an unparalleled level of comfort and relaxation. Each of the luxurious treatment rooms is equipped with private steam rooms and custom-designed massage beds, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in their wellness journey. The spa also features intimate relaxation areas, a 22-meter indoor lap pool, and Cambodia’s first Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio by Bastien Gonzalez.
Ms. Tola On, the spa manager, hails from Siem Reap province and has been a spa specialist since 2012. She ensures that each guest’s experience is meticulously tailored to their unique needs, with a focus on holistic well-being. “I am incredibly proud of our team for achieving this recognition. We are committed to offering every guest a personalized journey of relaxation and healing, and I believe our focus on Khmer traditions helps set us apart in the industry,” said Tola On.
Adding to the spa’s accolades, the Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio by Bastien Gonzalez was also recognized as the Best Nail Brand in the World at the 2024 World Spa Awards. Han Nguyen, the studio manager, is known for her personal approach to client care. “One of my favorite aspects of my role is getting to know my clients. It gives me closeness, connection, and helps them open up and share their concerns. This allows me to craft customized experiences that meet their unique needs,” she said.
