VARY: A Dual Exhibition Exploring Transformation in Nature and Humanity

Rosewood Phnom Penh Art Gallery proudly presents VARY, a duo painting exhibition by two acclaimed Cambodian artists, Nout Daro and Thun Dina, on view from October 21 to December 11, 2025. The exhibition explores transformation, connection, and the shared essence between humans and nature — a poetic reflection of how change shapes identity and the world around us.

Rooted in their personal journeys and reflections, VARY invites viewers to explore the contrasts between past and present, memory and transformation. The exhibition embodies the artists’ shared philosophy — that life itself is an ever-changing process of adaptation and discovery.

• Nout Daro celebrates the vary of nature, emphasizing the intrinsic connection between humanity and the natural world. His vivid compositions encourage reflection on how humans coexist with the environment, calling for awareness and compassion toward nature’s fragility. Through his works, Daro advocates for the protection of forests, animals, and ecosystems, reminding viewers of the importance of preserving life on Earth before it fades into extinction.

• Thun Dina, on the other hand, explores the vary of people—the human pursuit of growth, transformation, and fulfillment. His paintings juxtapose black-and-white human figures against vibrant, colorful backgrounds, symbolizing personal evolution.
