Five local artists come together to design The Anasazi Restaurant’s outdoor dining parklet
August 02, 2020
Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi, the luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Santa Fe, New Mexico, has unveiled five beautifully designed barriers for its outdoor dining parklet, supporting the local arts community. In partnership with the City of Santa Fe Arts and Culture Department the hotel has created a new platform for local artists to showcase their work.
Over the past three weeks Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi has brought together five artists: Joel Nikamura, John Paul Granillo, Robb Rael, Jessica Ortiz and Shakti Kroopkin, to paint the barriers of the property’s outdoor dining parklet. Inspired by the diversity of Santa Fe, each artist combined their creativity and style while connecting through the themes of nature, evolution and the seasons. Throughout the process guests and locals alike have been able to watch live as the artist’s work on their pieces.
“Given the large impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our community, we are glad that we have been able to find a way to support local artists during this time,” said Lutz Arnhold, managing director of Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi. “As art is such an integral part of the Santa Fe culture, we are honored to be able to provide a venue for these five artists to showcase their creativity and bring joy to our new outdoor space.”
As outdoor dining continues, guests and visitors alike will be delighted by the innovative works of art that surround them as they dine at The Anasazi Restaurant and Patio. Individuals can make reservations for outdoor dining through OpenTable here.
