Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort announces the appointment of Tracy Stoltz as Managing Director. An accomplished hospitality executive with extensive experience leading luxury and full-service resorts across the United States and international markets, Tracy brings a distinguished record of operational excellence and transformational leadership to one of Hawai'i's most iconic destinations.  

Tracy joins Kona Village from The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort in Vail, Colorado, where she most recently served as General Manager. Her career spans globally recognized brands including Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, with senior leadership roles across landmark properties in North America, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas. She also previously served as Owner Liaison at Point Grace in the Turks and Caicos Islands, where she helped lead the property to earn the World Travel Awards' Caribbean's Leading Boutique Hotel recognition as well as earning both AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star recognition. Prior to that, she served as General Manager of Grand Isle Resort & Spa in Great Exuma, Bahamas, where she oversaw a $240 million development project. She is excited to bring this breadth of experience to Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort, as the property celebrates three years under the Rosewood flag following its highly anticipated return after years of closure.

Tracy's rich experience with Hawaiian hospitality further distinguishes her appointment. She has held key leadership roles at The Royal Hawaiian, Sheraton Waikiki Resort, The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas, Sheraton Maui Resort, and The Westin Maui Resort and Spa, where she exceeded budgeted gross operating profit by $4.9 million and played a pivotal role in a $100 million property transformation.

A commitment to sustainability is evident throughout the property. The resort is powered 100% by solar energy, and several buildings have been designed for LEED Gold Certification, while an on-site cultural center further provides both visitors and locals with perspective into the rich natural and cultural significance of the surroundings. Kona Village’s ownership group is led by global real estate investment company Kennedy Wilson, which has partnered with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts on the management of the resort.
