Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, Dallas’ leading luxury property and the inaugural hotel of the prestigious Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® portfolio, today announces a collection of inspired activities and offerings designed in celebration of the autumn and winter seasons. From delicious dishes and drinks boasting the mouthwatering flavors of the upcoming months to festive Christmas tree and cookie decorating experiences, the hotel will provide ample opportunity for guests and locals alike to embark on a joyous holiday adventure in the heart of Uptown Dallas.
Beginning on Thursday, October 31, The Mansion Restaurant will be transformed into an autumnal oasis with fall landscaping and décor from the local Dallas Farmers Market. Assorted pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks will line the building’s famous façade, creating a picture-perfect moment and simultaneously signaling at the fall flavors to be found inside. Within the restaurant, a special new dinner menu conceived by Executive Chef Sebastien Archambault will offer delectable dishes including Blue Hubbard Squash Soup, Seared Duck Foie Gras and Juniper Rubbed Venison Loin, as well as a decadent Pumpkin Cheesecake. The season’s most notable flavors will further be reflected at the Mansion Bar, where a custom cocktail menu will feature handcrafted concoctions boasting ingredients such as pumpkin, apricot and spice. A highlight of the new menu items, the Pumpkin Old Fashioned puts a timely twist on one of The Mansion Bar’s most coveted cocktails. Also debuting for the first time this fall is a signature Garrison Brothers Rosewood Mansion whiskey, created exclusively for patrons of the property. Developed by the Mansion’s culinary team in partnership with the Texas-based Garrison Brothers Distillery, known for its authentic, handmade bourbon whiskey, the single barrel will be available as part of The Mansion Bar menu while supplies last.
On Thanksgiving Day, The Mansion Restaurant will introduce yet another limited-time menu featuring innovative takes on all of the traditional holiday favorites. Available for reservations between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and priced at $125 per person and $60 per child, the menu will offer Blue Hubbard Pumpkin Soup, Beef Tenderloin, Roasted Organic Heritage Turkey and an extensive dessert display.
For guests visiting the hotel throughout the month of December, a personal Christmas tree may be placed in their room to provide a warm welcome upon arrival. Whether guests choose to send their own tree trimmings in advance of their stay or work with the hotel’s dedicated concierge team to curate an assortment of ornaments to their liking, all will be encouraged to bring the time-honored Christmas tradition to the Mansion and enjoy the extra dose of holiday spirit from the comfort of their individual accommodations.
At The Mansion Restaurant, a complimentary cookie decorating experience for hotel guests will further spread the holiday cheer, allowing children and families to create sweet treats with the guidance of the property’s pastry chef Jacquelynn Beckman. Providing an assortment of cookie shapes, flavors and toppings, the inspired amenity will take place every Friday and Saturday throughout the month of December from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Those looking for another opportunity to satisfy their sweet tooth are invited to enjoy an authentic Horchata ice cream, crafted from pastry sous chef Raquel Pacheco’s family “Agua de Horchata” recipe. The Mexican drink will also be incorporated in a special Do You Know Chata cocktail at the Mansion Bar, further featuring the flavors of liquor 43 and nutmeg for a rich and refined finish.
