Rosewood Miramar Beach honored among the world’s best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, airlines, airports, and cruise lines

Rosewood Miramar Beach, Southern California’s newest ultra-luxury resort, is pleased to announce that it has ranked #2 in the “Top 19 Resorts in Southern California” category in the 32nd annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. Recognizing the world’s best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, airlines, airports and cruise lines, the prestigious awards are distributed per the insights of Condé Nast Traveler readers worldwide, who this year submitted a record-breaking number of responses rating their respective travel experiences. 2019 marks the first year that Rosewood Miramar Beach has been honored on the highly-selective awards list, receiving the esteemed accolade only seven months after opening.

“It is always a pleasure to see our properties recognized through this prestigious awards program, and to have Rosewood Miramar Beach receive such a stellar ranking so soon after its opening speaks volumes about the incredible commitment of the resort’s staff to exceed all guest expectations,” said Radha Arora, President of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “We look forward to continuing to facilitate meaningful moments for our guests of the property for years to come.”

Located just 80 miles northwest of Los Angeles in Santa Barbara’s picturesque Montecito community, Rosewood Miramar Beach opened in March 2019 as the one and only resort in Southern California to offer guestrooms situated directly over the sand. Boasting 161 ultra-luxury accommodations and an array of inspired amenities, including seven distinct dining venues, a state-of-the-art spa and fitness center, high-end onsite retail experiences, two cabana-lined swimming pools and fully-serviced beach access, Rosewood Miramar Beach was quickly established as a discerning destination for travelers worldwide. Reflecting the glamour and sophistication of the American Riviera, the 16-acre resort was inspired by the beautiful and grand estates of Montecito and provides a truly unique and residential guest experience, akin to the feeling of being hosted at a private home.

“It’s humbling to be recognized by the sophisticated and discerning readers of Condé Nast Traveler as one of the top rated resorts in Southern California,” said Rick Caruso, Founder and CEO of Caruso and owner of Rosewood Miramar Beach. “Since opening our doors in March, our associates have aimed to provide the highest level of customer service to each and every one of our guests and neighbors. This latest accolade is a testament to their hard work and dedication, and we thank both our team and our guests for a truly wonderful inaugural year.”

Over 600,000 readers submitted millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments, sharing their recent travel experiences. Rosewood Miramar Beach’s achievements in the consumer-driven awards program exemplify the hotel’s commitment to affording visitors with one-of-a-kind offerings and experiences.
