On June 8, 2019, Rosewood Miramar Beach will celebrate Global Wellness Day, an annual, international initiative dedicated to living well and raising awareness for personal health, with several bespoke activations and activities designed to encourage healthy habits while highlighting the property’s unique and locally-inspired attributes. One of the many Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® properties participating in the campaign, Rosewood Miramar Beach will offer invigorating, expert-led fitness classes, spa treatments and culinary lessons to provide a transformative wellness experience for guests and foster the implementation of healthy lifestyle choices in the lives of individuals and families alike.

The engaging Global Wellness Day offerings at Rosewood Miramar Beach include activities designed to connect the mind, body and spirit while simultaneously showcasing the many marvels of Montecito and Southern California at large. Highlights include a sunset meditation session in the resort’s tranquil Buddha Garden as well as an informative foam rolling class and book signing session with Lauren Roxburgh, author and body alignment specialist who is highly endorsed by natural health and lifestyle leader, goop. For Rosewood Miramar Beach’s younger guests, a selection of Olympics-inspired beach games will encourage friendly competition and camaraderie, while parents will be energized by an invigorating beach bootcamp hosted by Fitness 805, Santa Barbara County’s leading resource for connecting consumers with wellness professionals best suited to meet their individual needs. Lastly, an interactive cooking class will offer tips and tricks on healthy eating practices, allowing guests to exercise their new habits long after Global Wellness Day comes to an end.
In addition to the individual Global Wellness Day activities, which are available to visiting guests and locals alike, Rosewood Miramar Beach has developed an overnight package for those looking for an even more comprehensive wellness experience. Available from June 7 to June 9 for a minimum of two nights, the package includes three customized 60-minute treatments at Sense, A Rosewood Spa® and a nourishing daily breakfast service.
