Earth Month at Rosewood Phnom Penh, Celebrating the Power of Local Sourcing

A year of meaningful partnerships with the local partners shaping our kitchens and community.

April 20, 2026

This Earth Month, Rosewood Phnom Penh proudly celebrates its commitments to responsible sourcing and local partnerships, highlighting a year of meaningful collaboration with Cambodian farmers, producers, and suppliers who play a vital role in shaping the hotel's culinary identity.

In 2025, Rosewood Phnom Penh continued to strengthen its locally driven supply chain, championing fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients that support communities while reducing environmental impact. From farm to kitchen, these partnerships reflect the hotel's belief that sustainability begins close to home.

Throughout the year, the hotel worked closely with a network of trusted local partners across key categories including fresh produce, seafood, proteins, dairy, and staple goods. Notable collaborations include Smiling Gecko Cambodia, supplying fruits, vegetables, fresh meat, and cold‑cut items, Kandal Union AG Invest Co., Ltd, a leading local provider of pork and beef, and Khin Khemra Seafood Supply, supporting the use of locally sourced seafood.

Rosewood Phnom Penh also partnered with community‑driven agricultural producers such as Prosit Farm and Khmer Safe Vegetable (KSV) for fresh vegetables, alongside Mohamad Ali Supply for poultry products. These relationships helped ensure quality, transparency, and consistency across the hotel’s dining experiences.

In support of animal welfare and ethical sourcing, Eggscellent supplied cage‑free eggs throughout the year, while Perpetual Green Development (Cambodia) Co., Ltd provided fresh local milk. The hotel also proudly sourced Cambodian Phka Romduol rice (Jasmin rice) from Ratanak Pulroth Samaki Agriculture Cooperation, in Kampot Province-reinforcing its support of local heritage products.

Across 2025, Rosewood Phnom Penh recorded significant local purchases across produce, proteins, dairy, eggs, seafood, and fresh ingredients—reinforcing an ongoing commitment to sustainable procurement and reduced supply‑chain miles.

“Local sourcing is not just an environmental choice, it’s a celebration of Cambodia’s rich agricultural landscape and the people behind it,” said Seyha In, Impact and Sustainability Manager. “By building long‑term partnerships with local producers, we’re able to create dining experiences that are genuine, responsible, and deeply connected to place.”

As part of Rosewood Group’s broader sustainability vision, this Earth Month initiative reflects Rosewood Phnom Penh’s dedication to thoughtful luxury—where people, communities, and the planet is woven into everyday operations.
