Sora Welcomes Rein as Resident Singer
A new Skydeck soundtrack blending familiar favorites with a fresh, soulful edge.
Perched above the city skyline, where evenings unfold in layers of light, music, and atmosphere, Sora introduces a new chapter in its live entertainment programming. From March 3 through April 25, Sora proudly welcomes Rein as its newest resident singer, performing Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 pm - 11:30 pm.
A Filipino-American artist with a natural stage presence and a sound that bridges familiarity with freshness, Rein brings a curated blend of pop, R&B, Top 40s, and country to the rooftop stage. His approach is simple yet intentional: reimagine the songs guests already love, and deliver them with renewed emotion, texture, and energy.
Rein’s performances are designed to complement the rhythm of the evening at Sora. As the sun sets and the city begins to glow, his setlist moves seamlessly from soulful ballads to upbeat crowd favorites, creating a soundtrack that feels both effortless and immersive. Whether accompanying an intimate dinner, a celebratory gathering, or a spontaneous night out, his music enhances the mood without overpowering the moment.
Rooted in diverse musical influences, Rein’s signature vibe lies in his ability to balance warmth and dynamism. His voice carries depth and clarity, while his interpretation of contemporary hits introduces subtle nuance and personality. The result is a live experience that feels polished yet personal — a connection between artist and audience that transforms background music into a memorable highlight of the night.
“Give me the mic and the moment — I’ll take care of the rest,” Rein shares.
The statement reflects both confidence and commitment — a promise to deliver not just songs, but an experience. Guests can expect engaging performances that feel spontaneous yet refined, capturing the energy of live music while maintaining the sophisticated ambiance that defines Sora.
“Sora has always been about creating a complete experience — where music, cocktails, and the energy of the city come together seamlessly,” says Jonas, Director of Bars at Rosewood Phnom Penh. “Welcoming Rein to the stage while introducing our new signature cocktail menu allows us to bring a renewed sense of vibrancy to the rooftop. It’s about giving our guests something familiar yet excitingly new each time they visit.”
Recognized internationally, Sora continues to position Phnom Penh on the global cocktail map. The bar was named among Asia’s 50 Best Bars and received the prestigious Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award 2025, highlighting its commitment to responsible practices and forward-thinking hospitality.
Rein’s residency represents more than a new voice on stage; it signals Sora’s continued dedication to curating elevated nightlife experiences. Music has always played an essential role in shaping the atmosphere of the rooftop — setting tone, building energy, and inviting guests to linger a little longer. With Rein at the helm of the evening soundtrack, Sora deepens its commitment to artistry, quality, and intentional programming.
Throughout the residency, guests can look forward to an evolving repertoire, with each night offering subtle variations that keep the experience fresh. Rein’s versatility allows him to move fluidly across genres — from smooth R&B classics to contemporary pop anthems and heartfelt country renditions — ensuring there is always something familiar, yet newly discovered.
As Phnom Penh’s social scene continues to grow, Sora remains at the forefront, blending panoramic views, curated cocktails, refined dining, and live music into one cohesive experience. Rein’s presence adds another dimension to that offering — one that invites guests to settle in, savor the moment, and allow the night to unfold naturally.
Rein will perform from March 3 to April 25, every Tuesday through Saturday, from 8:30 pm - 11:30 pm at Sora.
